Rob's POV

A rustling sound came from behind us as a man basically appeared out of nowhere, I watched in horror as he ran behind Mitch, attacking him.

My breathe hitched as I saw the rest of them come out, about 5-10 more men came out from the bushes in gillie suits, all carrying batons.

I panicked, turning to run but a man cut me off. I stumbled back, falling over my own feet, trembling in panic and fear now as I gazed up at him.

He wore a black suit,

tapping a baton against his hand.

He smiled sickly at me, letting out a content sigh.

"Hello there!" He chirped, an eerie confidence dripping from his words. "Let me introduce myself, I'm Aceti. Jerome, Aceti."

I frowned, I've.. heard that name before?
Oh no. I gasped, wide eyed, quickly scrambling to get up, only to trip over my feet again.

I looked back at him, shaking.

Jerome chuckled. "You look frightened." He smirked as he walked around me. "Perhaps you've heard of me?"

"What d-do you want?" I stammered.

"Well, let me explain." Jerome chuckled. "You, and all your friends are coming with us. Don't resist and we can do this peacefully."

"Do resist and, well," he smiled. "Someone might get hurt."

I stared at him doubtfully, standing up slowly. He watched my every move carefully, an amused smirk plastered on his face.

"N-now I don't want any trouble," I started, slowly inching my way towards him, slowly reaching for my dagger, "But I-"

Before I could continue Jerome swung hard at my face, punching me hard in the jaw. I groaned, staggering backwards.

I turned back for a split second, noticing everyone else, Mitch was knocked out cold, Preston and Vikk were struggling to defend themselves and Lachlan was up against 2 larger guys.

Jerome landed a blow to my side with the baton, quickly kicking me down afterwards. I grunted in pain as I landed on my stomach, something sharp dug into my side.

I laid over and whimpered, cupping my side as a sticky substance quickly covered my fingers.

"Bring them back to the base, you know the routine boys!." Jerome shouted at the men.

He looked down at me sweetly, "Till we meet again." He sang innocently as he walked off, my vision fading slowly as his figure walked off.

We're so screwed.
