I went through my first classes as normal untill after study period, when i got to go to lunch. Stepping through the old red cafiteria doors and into the noisy sea of teens getting their lunch, I set off to my usual table with a few of the girls from my english class.

Halfway there, i stopped at the sound of someone calling my name.

"KIRA!"

I spun around, looking for the the source, i laughed to myself at the sight of Gwen standing on a chair across the lunch room waving her arms at me like a mad woman. well she's definetly not shy. I waved back and she sat down laughing. Picking through the tabels i finally i got to theirs, Jared pulled out the chair next to him and i sat smiling gratefully. I set my bad next to me and took out an arizona i had manage to  stash away from my brother and sat back in the chair. Looking up i saw Gwen smiling at me, "What?"

"Nothing, it's just weird seeing you without the freaked out expression on your face is all." She mimicked what must have been what i looked like in detention yesterday. I nearly snorted my airizona, "Shut it blondie." Gwen made a face and Jared chuckled, my insides warming at the sound. It was a deep, warm sound, like curling up in a cabin by the fire place, i know it sounds weird, but hey, it's my opinion.

"So what dangerous stunt are you going to pull today Kira? Not turn in a due library book?"

I blushed, "Hey, just because i don't dye my hair or peirce my face doesn't mean im not edgy." Lie, i've never done anything edgy in my life, unless you count riding in the car without my seat belt on...by accident.  Gwen looked surprised, "Really? Well, we'll just have to see about that now wont we Jared?" He nodded in agreement, what had i just gotten myself into?

The bell rang signaling the end of lunch, standing up we walked to the doors together, where Jared grabbed my arm and pulled me to the side. "Hey Ms. Danger, do you want to come with me and Gwen to go clubbing this weekend?"  I stared at him dumbfouned for a second before my brain put the peices together.

"Oh. well i've never been clubbing before....and arn't we underage?" I asked cautiously. He sent me his signature smirk in return.

"You'll be fine, i'll be right there with you, and dont worry, ill handle the ID." he answered sending me a wink.  "So we'll pick you up at seven?"

I slowly nodded in agreement.
