Aria's POV:
I had just gotten back after hanging out with my friends. I felt something was off...
"Mom! Dad! " I called out, but no one replied. The air felt heavy, almost suffocating. It didn't smell like usual but something... metallic.
As I stepped inside, some dark figures suddenly emerged from the shadows, filling the whole room!
They moved like ghost, super quiet, with their hands outstretched and claws glinting in the moonlight. It felt like they were whispering my name!
Suddenly my parents came out of nowhere and tried to shield me but this thing was a way too powerful...
I wretched in horror as one of the figure launged at us with sharp claws!
My dad pushed me aside before I could stop him and faced the demon himself. I saw one flash of its claws and heard something heavy hit the floor.
I looked to the ground only for an ear-splitting scream to escape my mouth at what I saw!
My father, lying on the ground, his brown eyes, a mirror of my brother, empty with spots of blood spreading and consuming the colour of his brown eyes.
I watched at his lips stuttered for a second before he froze... frozen in time...
in this moment... lost forever.
My mother screamed jumping forward exactly as another one of the figure closed in her.
I stood still long enough to see the demon thrust its claws into my mother's waist before I grabbed my brother in desperation, shielding him from this heartbreaking scene.
So young, he was so young for this... I... I was too young...
I felt the shadows hover over us. I closed my eyes bracing myself, ready to take first blow for my brother who I was holding tightly in my arms.
Suddenly, someone pulled us back! I couldn't see much, just a pair of eyes that looked familiar...
Those eyes!..
