Eve leans her head on the seat and sighs. "That was tough..." she tells Aaron honestly, knowing she can talk about this with him. Aaron glanced over for a moment before he looked over at the road again. "Did you talk to him at all?" He asked gently, knowing it was a slightly sensitive topic.
"Kaiden?" she asks. "Not at all," Eve tells him, sighing lightly. "I know I did fucked up shit to him too, but the one actually really fucked up thing he did was way too far," she mutters.
Aaron nodded. "Yeah.." He responded, thinking about a way to change the topic for a bit. "What about Alex?" He asked her.
"Barely talked," she says. "He's dating Kaiden, know? That shit pisses me off," she huffs slightly. "I'm over Kaiden, sure. And for Alex... romantically I'm over him but I still wish things didn't end how they did. It was weird. Today was weird," she responds to him.
Aaron tilted his head a bit. "Oh..that's a bit fucked." He shrugged softly. "I guess they found comfort in each other or something?" He sighed.
"I guess," Eve responds. "I wouldn't care if they didn't hook up the day me and Alex broke up then immediately dated right after. Alex doesn't comprehend shit well," she snickers lightly, taking a sip of her drink.
He nodded softly. "Well, it's understandable why you might have been upset or something." He said but didn't respond to the mention of Alex. "Yeah," Eve nods. "It's been almost seven months and I've moved on well enough so-" she laughs softly. "And I... got you now," she smiles.
Aaron nodded again. "Indeed you do." He smiled, looking over softly again.
"You're great," she tells him, grinning. She bites her lip softly, looking at Aaron. Her eyes gaze down to his lips but then she looks away, looking away from him. Her cheeks are reddened slightly
Aaron didn't notice, as he was driving. Though he smiled a bit, just thinking about something. Eve looks out of the window, thinking to herself. "Do you want to go out anywhere before we head over to my place?" He asked.
Eve shook her head. "No. I'm really tired," she yawns quietly. Aaron nodded. "Alright, that's alright." He smiled softly.
"Yeah, sorry," she sighs lightly.
"Don't apologize, Eve. I understand," He told her softly.
"Thanks," she tells him, feeling a bit guilty even if she doesn't need to be. He smiled and looked over at her again for a moment. "It's not a problem," He said softly.
Eve nods, taking a sip of her drink.
Aaron pulled into his driveway, parking the car before he looked over at Evelyn fully now. He places a hand softly on hers. "Are you sure you're okay?" He asked softly.
Evelyn nods for a moment then shakes her head. "I don't think so..." she mutters. "I hated being there if I'll be honest."
Aaron sighed gently. "We can do something inside to take your mind off things." He offered, smiling lightly.
Aaron did the same and got out of the car, closing the door softly. Evelyn gets out of the car and closes the door, walking to the other side of the car and hugging Aaron tightly.
Aaron hugged her back gently. "You needed this, didn't you?" He asked softly with a gentle laugh.
Evelyn nods. "I did... thank you," she says quietly, keeping herself close to him. Aaron patted her hair down gently, nodding. "Of course, Eve." He said softly.
