Chapter 37: Running

'Shut up, you'll regret saying that to me soon.' He smirked. 'I'm just warming up.'

'Oh I'm scared.' I said wriggling my eyebrows.

But David made Em and I start a few meters behind the boys. Though Em, Dan and I being competitive did have a good thing: it looked like we were actually running for our lives. Rupert was looking desperate too, just trying to catch up with us. There was a mini disagreement going on between Em, Dan and I.

'I won that time!'

'No I did!'

'Excuse me? I won!'

'I think I did.'

'Oh shut up Rupert!'

Every once in a while I nearly slipped and staggered, but David said that my "acting" was good. Em was laughing her head off silently as he said this to me.

'Okay, one last one for today and we'll go back to the Manor!'

All of us actors were exhausted from running down the hill and dodging obstacles so many times that we were so glad to hear this.

'Make it the best one! And GO!'

I don't know if it was because it was the last take and everyone wanted to get over and done with, or it was the fact we've been filming this scene so many times that everyone got used to the running environment, but it felt like this was one the quickest and the best one.

'That was amazing!!!' David shouted excitedly from the top of the hill. 'I want to see this amount of quality tomorrow too!'

'Sure thing David!' Dan shouted back but he then added a grunt with a slight "ugh" expression to us secretly.

'We ran soooo many times!' Rupert threw up his arms, leaning heavily back onto the couch back at the Manor.

Him, Dan, Em, Tom, Matt, Evy and I were in what we thought was another living room of the building, enjoying the early evening as we completed filming for today.

'I'm kind of glad I wasn't there.' Tom laughed.

'I kind of want to do it though. But not too much times.' Matt said.

'Someone's eager to run more though.' Em raised her eyebrows at me.

'Hey, it's not my fault that I'm going to train!' I said, raising my eyebrows back. I was in my gym clothes, simply because I was about to do training. Yep, with my personal trainer.

'We're gonna watch you suffer. That's gonna be fun.' Dan smiled wickedly and I kicked him lightly but apparently that hurt. 'OW!!' He yelped.

'That wasn't even that hard!'

'It did too! Well, maybe not so much as that but still!!!'

'Sorry to interrupt! But is my athlete in here?'

'Shaaaaeeee!!!' I jumped to my feet and flung my arms around her.
