Emma And Jax Sitting In A Tree, Literally

"What? You can't do that!" Emma exclaimed.

"I'm afraid that's not your choice."

"But-"

"No buts, it has been done."

"This isn't fair Agamemnon," I glared at him.

"Mr. Novoa, I am afraid you have no say in this," he responded sternly.

"Lily! How could you let this happen?"

"I'm sorry but we have to what's best!"

"You think this is best for her to explore her powers?" I snapped.

"I'm afraid you two are talking too much," Desdemona rolled her eyes.

"Excuse me?" I asked.

"This delinquents are highly annoying me, why not just have them get tied to a tree," Agamemnon groaned. Wait, wasn't that a rhyme? Crap.

Emma POV

"Ow!" I cried after bumping my head with Jax's. I tried to move my hand but it was tied to the branch.

"Try casting a spell," Jax explained.

"We have to go, set us free, please untie us from this tree." I didn't work.

"Ugh! Ok, let me try. Sitting up here is something I can't cope, please help us by cutting this rope." Again, we failed to get out from the tree.

"God, this probably has a lock on it," I groaned.

"Hey do you hear someone?" Jax asked.

"I'm here, what do you want to show me?" Riley groaned. This was probably their little meetup!

"Maybe we should not listen to them..." I mentioned.

"Aww, why not? Don't you wanna know about your new best friends love life?" he laughed.

"Jax, I don't think we should be stalking Riley and Dominic!"

"Come on, let's just see what happens between them, that's all! Besides, it's not like we have anything better than you."

"Ugh, fine, you're lucky you're cute," she groaned.

"Just see and contain," Dominic said. There was a white screen and a projector aiming towards it. He began to play video of her. Some she was laughing, some she was angry, some she wasn't even paying attention.

"Dominic, when did you take these?"

"Just whenever I had the chance," he smiled.

"You do realize this is a little ]weird?" she laughed.

"Yeah, but what's more weird than being in a school practically filled with witches and wizards?" he smirked.

"Dominic, this is great but, I just I don't know if I can trust you."

"I told you, all those girls mean nothing to me!"

"But-"

"And I mean it."

"Look, Dominic. It's hard for me to feel like you accept me when your mother doesn't."

"Oh forget her, if she's the problem then who cares? She doesn't control our feelings," Dominic said, grabbing her hands.

"Dominic-"

"Please, please, please, I love you, I love you a lot, and I know you do to."

She looked down, "Fine." A smile appeared across Dominic's face and Riley smiled back. He pecked her lips gently.

"Awwweee!" I blurted out.

Riley's POV

"Awweee," a familiar voice cooed.

"Emma?" I called out, "Where are you?"

"Up in this tree," Jax sighed. Me and Dominic looked up.

"What happened?" Dom asked.

"Long story short the meeting with the council didn't go too well," Emma sighed.

"Here, we'll help." I climbed up the tree and untied the knot.

"Thanks Riles," they both commented. I smiled.

"Anything for my bestfriends."

"So, you and Dom, Dom and you!" Emma squealed.

"Yeah," I smiled.

"This is great!"

"Ok, well Emma, I think we should give these two privacy," Jax added in, staring at me and Dominic awkwardly.

"Oh yeah," she laughed, "Have fun you two crazy love birds! And Dom, don't break her heart again."

I rolled my eyes. "Bye Emma!" I groaned. They left, giggling. and I looked at Dominic who was resisting a smile.

"Let's go," I told him, grabbing his hand. He smiled and kissed my cheek.
