Beomgyu's POV

Beomgyu leaned against his locker, idly scrolling through his phone, pretending not to notice Yeonjun waking toward him. He didn't want to admit it, but the kiss from the party still has been driving him crazy these past few days and yet Yeonjun somehow acted as if nothing happened that night and is now avoiding him.

Every time he saw Yeonjun at school, he couldn't stop replaying the way Yeonjun's lips felt against his own or the words that came after.

"Don't think you can win this game so easily"

Game? What kind of game even is this? Beomgyu thought bitterly, glancing up as Yeonjun walked past him without a single glance. His heart sank, but he masked it with a scoff. Fine, if that's how he wanted to play, I'll play too.

Out of the corner of his eye, Beomgyu spotted one of the school's athletes, Heeseung, chatting with a group of friends nearby. Heeseung was handsome, tall, and more importantly, single. Beomgyu smirked, an idea forming in his mind.

If Yeonjun thinks he can kiss me one night then act like nothing happened, I'll show him what he's missing.

Beomgyu strode over to the group, plastering on his most charming smile. "Hey, Heeseung," he said, voice smooth as silk. "Didn't you say you needed help with chemistry? I'm free today if you want me to tutor you."

Heeseung blinked, momentarily caught off guard by Beomgyu's sudden attention, but then he grinned. "Oh yeah, I did. That'd be great, actually"

"Perfect," Beomgyu replied, stepping closer, his fingers casually brushing against Heeseung's arm. He tilted his head slightly, flashing a playful smile. "You owe me one, though. I don't just help anyone, you know."

Heeseung laughed, clearly enjoying the attention, and the two fell into an easy conversation. Beomgyu could feel Yeonjun's eyes burning into him from across the hallway, though he made a point not to look in his direction.

Yeonjun's POV

Yeonjun's grip on his notebook tightened as he watch Beomgyu laugh at something Heeseung said, leaning in just a little too close. The sight of Heeseung's hand resting on Beomgyu shoulder made Yeonjun's blood boil.

What the hell is he doing?

It wasn't like Yeonjun to get jealous. He prided himself on being cool and composed but seeing Beomgyu openly flirting with someone else made his chest tighten uncomfortably. He turned away, trying to ignore the scene, but the sound of Beomgyu's laugh only grated on his nerves more.

Unable to stop himself Yeonjun slammed his locker shut and strode over to them. His footsteps were heavy, purposeful, and it wasn't long before Beomgyu and Heeseung noticed him approaching.

"Beomgyu," Yeonjun said sharply, ignoring Heeseung entirely. His voice was calm but his jaw was clenched. "We need to talk. Now."

Beomgyu raised an eyebrow, feigning innocence. "Oh? Is it really that important? I'm kind of busy here."

Yeonjun's eyes flicked to Heeseung, his gaze cold and dismissive. "It won't take long."

Heeseung, sensing the tension, awkwardly excused himself. Beomgyu crossed his arms, glaring at Yeonjun "What's your problem? Can't I talk to people without you acting like this?"

Yeonjun grabbed Beomgyu's wrist and dragged him into an empty classroom, shutting the door behind them. "What the hell are you doing?" he demanded, his voice low and edged with frustration.

"What does it look like?" Beomgyu shot back, yanking his wrist free. "I'm living my life. Or is that not allowed now?"

"You were practically throwing yourself at him," Yeonjun snapped. "Do you have any idea how—" He stopped himself, running a hand through his hair in frustration.
