"Something is burning-"
"It'll be you in a second if you don't do as your told," Vihaan stated.
"As if." Roman scoffed yet picked up the tray and headed to the dining room.
After dinner, Vihaan carried Vansh into the bedroom, where his gaze fell on the shopping bags. He set Vansh on the bed and took out a fluffy pyjama set, "Let's see if this fits you,"
"Raise your arms, Ansh." Vihaan instructed.
Vansh watched Vihaan as he tugged the big shirt off and dressed him up in clothes that were a bit big on him yet they felt so warm against his skin.
He caressed the material gently, "Soft,"
"Do you like it?" Vihaan asked, placing the other bags on the couch.
Vansh nodded his head and Vihaan caressed his head before laying him on the bed, "I'll get you more in your size, tomorrow."
Vansh yawned and Vihaan pulled the blankets up before tugging Vansh onto his chest, "Tired, are we?"
Vansh muttered incoherently, snuggling closer to Vihaan and the latter smiled as he patted his son's back, he felt like the luckiest man, he finally had his son back in his arms.
"Good night, sweets."
~
A week had passed since Vihaan had found his son. Vansh had started to fully trust him with the decisions he would make, and the child wouldn't leave his side when he was in sight unless he was occupied by his uncle.
Vihaan stood up, glancing at the clock that displayed 3:00 AM, he wanted to be at the warehouse to deal with Mia and the other men he had found were involved with his son's abduction, however, he wanted to be back before 8:00 in the morning.
He quickly shrugged on his suit and headed back to the bed, where Vansh had curled against a pillow and leaned down to press a gentle kiss to his head.
He silently exited the door and headed towards Roman's room, opening it slowly and stepping inside to find him sitting on his bed with the laptop in his lap, "Roman, why are you still awake?"
Roman flinched, placing a hand on his heart, "You scared me, idiot!!"
Vihaan rounded the bed and stood before Roman, raising an eyebrow, "I asked why are you still awake?"
Roman's gaze remained on his laptop, yet he retorted, "Why are you wearing your suit in the early morning? Haw, don't tell me you're some type of midnight ghost that roams around wearing expensive cloth-"
"Roman." Vihaan interrupted and the younger adult knew he was serious.
Vihaan reached his hand and placed it against Roman's forehead, who flinched away, smacking the hand away, "You're cold, leave me alone, Vi."
"Roman," Vihaan warned. He could detect that his skin was warm and it was a clear indication that Roman was coming down with a fever yet he wasn't aware how. "Where did you go in the evening? I want a truthful answer."
Roman fiddled with the keys on his laptop, "I'm fine. I went to the ice cream parlour to buy ice cream. I mean, isn't it obvious? Everyone goes to the parlour for ice cream, right, and so did I. Anyways, I started by eating the vanilla flavour, but I was craving something else, so I decided to have the chocolate flavour but I didn't want that either. You must be wondering if I'm pregnant but don't worry, I'm not, I'm a man after all. I don't know why I was experiencing cravings-"
"Shut up!" Vihaan growled, he was starting to lose the last bit of patience that he had stored. "Stop waffling and tell me where you were."
Roman huffed, he placed the laptop on the bed and climbed out of bed, "Where would I go, Malhotra? You tell me, why are you so dressed up? Going to a wedding-"
