How long has it been?
Six or seven months? Or is it more than that?
Ling can't remember well since the last time she saw Orm, but ironically, right now, the woman in question is here.
In her apartment, on her bed, lies her King-size bed, where Orm is sleeping.
Judging by the way she lightly snores and her shirt is sticking with the rank smell of alcohol, Ling knows that Orm is drunk.
Orm Kornnaphat
To be honest, it is not a problem at all for Ling if Orm is ogling everything on her bed, but that might have been eight months ago.
Now, things have changed. Literally, they have changed.
And Ling didn't know why, after six or seven months, Orm came to her apartment, literally stealing her emergency key from the outside vase and inviting herself in.
The sight her eyes are seeing right now is making her heart ache. She doesn't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing; she can't differentiate it.
Well, who can when your ex is sleeping soundly in your bedroom after six or seven months of breakup?
Who is she kidding with that matter when it is happening to her right now?
The doctor sighs and decides to get herself a coffee in her kitchen
She usually doesn't drink coffee, especially when it is known for having lots of caffeine, but right now, drinking coffee in the middle of the night seems like an option she needed the most.
Sitting on the island stool, Ling slowly sips her coffee, with lots of things running around in her head.
Mostly, her mind is occupied by the woman that is currently sleeping in her bedroom right now.
She doesn't know when it happened or when that girl arrived at her apartment and took control over her own bed, but all she knows is that when she got back from her late-night shift at the hospital, Orm was already there—sleeping and obviously drunk.
Rubbing her forehead, Ling wonders in her deep thoughts why Orm is here. Why would a woman who claimed they needed to break up because Ling was 'always missing and they were not a match for each other' be sleeping on her bed?
How ironic and ridiculous it seems now. isn't it?
She is also intruding in her bedroom and interrupting the doctor's supposedly claim of three days of not sleeping because of her job.
Now, where would Ling be sleeping?
Huffing in the air, Ling stands up from the stool and walks to her bedroom to see the sleeping figure hogging her King -size bed for five minutes until she decides to walk out from the bedroom in search of where she will sleep.
As she steps back into the living room, Ling glances at the clock on the wall.
It's past 2 AM
She knows she has to be up early for her shift the next day and the thought of tossing and turning on the couch doesn't appeal to her, but neither does the idea of waking Orm up.
She takes a deep breath, trying to calm the whirlwind of emotions swirling inside her.
Memories of their time together flood her mind—laughter, late-night talks, and the warmth of Orm's embrace. But those memories are tainted by the pain of their breakup, the reasons they had parted ways echoing in her head.
