Part 13: Count On Me

Maddy's POV 

Me: "Okay, what is wrong with this Mini-Con?" 

I asked as I placed my hand on him. He was still sleeping after days of being with us. Why was he so tired? Wasn't he ready to wake up after millions of years? Next to me were Xtron, Mia, and Stardom. 

Mia: "Yeah, he is a little weird." 

Stardom said something. 

Mia: "Stardome is saying that he is in a deep sleep and he can wake up at any moment." 

Me: "Yeah, but that waking up is taking way too long." 

I said as she nodded her head. 

Me: "Where is everyone? I only saw you two today." 

Mia: "Emily is at training. Sara is behind the main computer, and she is looking for the Mini-Cons." 

Me: "And Luna?" 

Mia: "She went for a ride with Astron."

Me: "Come on." 

I said and began to walk. The three of them began to follow me. I was getting bored. Coming into another room, we spotted Autobots working. They were building a ship. 

Hot Shot: "Hey Maddy! Mia! Could you two give me that, please?" 

We followed his finger where we could see a part that he needed to use. 

Me: "No problem." 

We approached the part that Hot Shot needed and began to lift it. Well, we tried to. But no matter how much we both tried we could not lift it. Not even for cm.

Me: "It's not working." 

Mia: "I am happy you were the first one to say it." 

Hot Shot approached us. 

Hot Shot: "What is it with you guys? Can't you see I am joking?" 

He said, and then he picked up the part that he needed without a problem. I crossed my hands and rolled my eyes, making him laugh. 

Me: "You might be stronger, but I am faster than you." 

Hot Shot: "Oh yeah?" 

Me: "Yeah." 

Hot Shot: "Is that a challenge?" 

Me: "Maybe it is." 

Optimus: "I am sorry for bothering you with your fun, but can you help me with something Hot Shot?" 

He asked as he came to us. Hot Shot nodded, and together they returned to work, leaving me and Mia behind. Was I just flirting? Was he flirting back? 

Mia: "You think we can be any help to them?" 

Me: "No. Maybe we should leave them alone. We do not know anything about spaceships." 

At that moment, I remembered. 

Me: "Come with me." 

I told her, and together we stepped into the hallway. 

Me: "Let's go to the city." 

Mia: "Sounds nice. Are we taking our Mini-Cons along?" 

Me: "Sure. We aren't going to walk there. Come on." 

We went to get our Mini-Cons, and together we left the base.
