------------------
The spider screeched as Aranya pierced it's head with a knife.
She pulled out her knife slowly and held it out for the heavy rain to wash the substance away.
Legolas was fighting close to her, she could hear his grunts and arrows shot.
Aranya stood there, in the middle of them all.
She looked at her clothes, her hair, her shoes, even her knives are wet.
They were all soaked by now.
The heavy rain and strong winds got the best of them.
They were all waiting for the captain of the guard, Tauriel, to announce the retreat, since all the spiders have gone.
They waited, still no voice.
Then suddenly, a guard spoke up, "I found her!"
Many of the guards and Legolas and Aranya rushed to where the guard shouted.
They could not believe their eyes.
It was Tauriel.
She was injured, blood all over her.
Still they could see her light breaths.
Legolas was the one to lay beside her, and held her hand.
"Take her to the palace, now!" Legolas ordered and let go of Tauriel's hand.
A guard swept her up of her feet and raced to the palace.
All of the guards followed.
Sooner or later, Legolas and Aranya ran after them.
-----------------------
The guard who was carrying Tauriel barged through the gates.
The king stood up immediately.
"What happened to her?" The king ran to Tauriel's frail body.
"We still do not know, father." Aranya said.
Legolas was devastated.
He was at the back of the group, not minding any words from any of them.
He only minded her.
"Bring her to the healing room, then give her some rest." with that, the king walked out.
The guards brought her to the healing room, and closed the door behind them.
Without hesitation, Aranya went to her room.
Legolas just stood in the middle of the palace.
With Tauriel on his mind.
-------------------
It never stopped raining for three days straight.
Tauriel still hasn't woke up.
Legolas is still depressed.
Aranya as well.
The king didn't know what to do.
Elithina, was the happiest of them all.
Legolas woke up to the sound of loud thunder.
He couldn't get back to sleep, so he did what he does every day.
He goes to Tauriel.
Legolas reached Tauriel's room.
He opened the door quietly and closed it behind him.
He went to sit next to Tauriel.
Then another thunder clap.
He didn't mind it.
Legolas held Tauriel's pale hand.
Thunder.
He just sat there, looking at her.
For he never realized, the rain was slowly fading away.
No more thunder.
Legolas looked at the window, it was like the first time he saw the sun in ages.
Then he felt Tauriel's hand twitch.
His head snapped to her.
Tauriel slowly opened her eyes, and looked at him.
"Legolas?"
