CHAPTER 10

Farhan met Khalil, his close friend, at a quiet café. His expression was heavy, and after a few moments of silence, he started narrating the entire situation.

"Yanzu kana nufin Matar ka bata san da wannan auren ba? (Are you telling me your wife didn't know about this marriage?)" Khalil gasped, shaking his head in disbelief.

"Lallai ka yi ganganci. (You've really made a mistake.)"

Farhan sighed, running his hand through his hair. "Wallahi, I didn't know how to tell her. Kullum idan na kalleta, sai na ce, 'I can't hurt this innocent soul.' (Every time I looked at her, I just couldn't bring myself to hurt her.)"

Khalil nodded sympathetically. "Hmm, yanzu fa? (So now what?)"

"Dan Allah ka taya ni zuwa biko. Nasani they respect you, maybe they'll listen if you talk. (Please, help me with the apology. I know they respect you; maybe they'll hear you out.)"

Khalil sighed, rubbing his chin. "Kai, abokina, lamarin fa yayi tsauri sosai. (This is really complicated, my friend.) Amma I'll try for you." (But I'll try for you.)

Grateful, Farhan thanked him profusely as they got into the car and drove to Fathiya's family house. Khalil decided to enter alone, while Farhan stayed in the car, hoping for the best.

Before Khalil could even come down Fathiya's brothers, Abdallah and Hisham, spotted the car. They approached Farhan, who had winded down his window.

"Kai, mai ka zo yi anan? (What are you doing here?)" Abdallah questioned, his tone sharp.

Ba an ce ka daina takura mata ba? (Weren't you told to leave her alone?)" Hisham added, his voice dripping with disdain.

Farhan took a deep breath, knowing he had to face the consequences. "Ba wanda yake sama da kuskure. Sharrin shaidan ne. (No one is above mistakes. It was the devil's trick.)"kuyi hakuri he added

Hisham let out a sarcastic laugh. "Sai kuyi abin da kuke so, sannan ku ce sharrin shaidan ne. (You do what you want, then blame the devil.)

Our own here is the chin fuska and chin mutunci,matarka is suppose to be everything for you ,her respect should be your respect ,kasan kuwa for a woman to hear that on her wedding day instead of looking at her you were looking at someone , kaii he sighed  then continued do you know how painful this is ?
And her best friend for that matter ka rasa wanda zaka kalla sai amal ?

You disrespected her by marrying someone else without even telling her, and now you expect things to go back to normal?"

Farhan  and Khalil lowered their heads in shame,

Indai Dan fathiya kazo toh Walahi bazan barta ta fito bah ,Idan Kuma daddy kazo nema to ya fita,hisham said firmly and he continued you are even lucky we are even speaking with you,Dan dai har yanzu ba yanda zamuyi ne akwai aure ah tskanin ka da sister dinmu ,he added

Bissalam hisham said and they walked away

Farhan wanted to follow them but Khalil stopped him ,give them time he said and they went inside the car and zoomed off

Meanwhile, at Amal's house, Farhan walked into the living room, greeted by a warm vanilla and rose scent that always relaxed him. He smiled when he saw Amal, who stood waiting for him.

"Su babyn Amal kenan. (There's my Amal's baby.)" she teased, moving closer for a hug.

But Farhan's smile faded slightly as he responded, "Wallahi, kiyi hakuri, na je gidanmu ne, daga nan kuma

And before he could finish she hugged him ,and she continued with a captivating voice

"Daga nan kuma Sai me ",
"Sai naje bikon  fathiya" he said

Just then amal realeased him hissing  and left the room
Farhan was taken aback by her actions and he was wondering why she acted like that
He followed her to the room and then met her on the bed

"Meye kuma ya faru",he asked

"Ba komai" she said frowning ,

"Ina tambayan ki zaki ce mun ba komai ,lafiya kuwa amal?", he asked

"Baby ban San maganar fathiya   ne  danallah"
Kawai ka de na ma  kawo mun ita cikin gidan nan ,ku je chan solve your issues your self

"Tohhh",farhan said har kishin ya kai haka he said pulling her cheeks

She yanked his hand and said
" ba kai kace mun what is between you and her bah is between you and her and what is between us is between us bah ,toh let it stay like that"she added and squeezed her mouth

"Toh Allah ya huce zuciyan ki", he said  

Farhan sighed, pulling her closer, but deep down, he was beginning to understand the complexities of having two wives.
