Fathiya stayed in her room after Farhan left, her mind swirling with confusion and hurt. She turned to her prayer mat, her only solace in a time when everything seemed to crumble around her. As she went into sujood, the tears she had been holding back streamed down her face.

"Ya Allah, Kaga abun da bawan Allah nan ya yi mun. Ya Allah, Ka shige mun lamari. Ka bani karfin daukan wannan matsanancin matsayi (Oh Allah, You see what this servant of Yours has done to me. Oh Allah, take control of this situation for me. Give me the strength to make this decision)." Her voice was soft but full of desperation.

"Ya Allah, Kana gani i am so confused, bansan wani step zan dauka ba (Oh Allah, You know I am confused; I don't know what step to take)." She wept silently in her sujood, feeling the weight of uncertainty pressing down on her.

"I know I am not forgiving him now, but I don't even know whether I want to stay in this marriage or not." Her heart was heavy as she said her final salam, closing her prayer with more questions than answers. For the first time in a long while, she felt completely lost.

The silence of the room wrapped around her like a blanket, but it did nothing to comfort her. Her phone buzzed on the bed. Wiping her tears, she checked and saw her sister Anam's name flashing on the screen.

Fathiya!" her sister's voice was sharp, filled with anger. "Me nake ji haka? Ina ne wai? (What am I hearing? Where are you?)"

Fathiya's heart sank. "I'm home."

"Na ji labarin abun da ya faru daga daya daga cikin cousins dinmu. Right now I'm at Baba's house, and he  doesn't know anything!" Anam's voice trembled with fury. "Farhan da iyalinsa sun ci amana, Fathiya! Wane irin abu ne wannan? (Farhan and his family have betrayed you! What kind of thing is this?)"

Fathiya didn't have the strength to respond. She simply muttered, "Ni na ma rasa abun da zan yi, Anam (I don't even know what to do, Anam)." The tears she had been holding back returned, flowing freely now as she listened to her sister's anger.

Anam's words were fast and filled with disbelief. "Wallahi, ba zan taba barin wannan ya tafi haka ba (I swear, I won't let this go just like that). Ya ya za ka yi aure kuma kowa ya sani banda matar ka? This is unacceptable!"

Just then, their father's voice boomed from the background. "Anam! Menene haka nake ji? (Anam! What is it I'm hearing?)" He sounded shocked and confused.

"Baba, zan zo nan da yan'uwana, bari na yi magana da Fathiya (Baba, I'll come with my siblings. Let me talk to Fathiya)," Anam said hurriedly before ending the call.

Less than an hour later, Fathiya heard the sound of a car pulling up outside her house. Moments later, the door opened, and her father stormed in, followed by her mother, Anam, and her brothers.

Her father's face was clouded with anger. "Wai menene wannan da na ji? Farhan ya yi aure kuma ba tare da ya sanar da ke ba? (What is this I'm hearing? Farhan married another woman and didn't tell you?)" He shook his head in disbelief, pacing the room. Waiting for farhan to come

As soon as farhan came in he started  "Wallahi na dauka kai mutumin kwarai ne, ashe haka kake. (I truly thought you were a good man, but this is who you are?)" His words stung, cutting through the room like sharp knives.

Anam, not wasting a moment, began packing Fathiya's belongings into suitcases. "Ba za mu bari ki zauna a wannan gidan ba. (We won't let you stay in this house.)" She kept saying, her hands moving quickly as if to shield her sister from the pain.

Farhan, who had been standing in the hallway, stepped forward, desperation written on his face. "Fathiya, please! Just one more chance. Don't leave me. Dama ban yi nufin cutar da ke ba. (I didn't mean to hurt you.)" His voice cracked, but it did nothing to soften the tension in the room.

Her father, however, wasn't moved. "Kai za ka zauna ka yi karyar mutunci? Ka je, ka bar mu! (You'll stand there and lie about honor? Go, leave us!)" His voice rose with each word, his disappointment seeping through.

"Ki barshi ki zo, Fathiya. (Leave him, Fathiya, come with us.)" Her father's voice was firm, and her mother, who had been quietly crying in the corner, finally broke down, the sight of her daughter's misery too much to bear.

Farhan tried to grab Fathiya's hand as her father and brothers took the suitcases Anam had packed. "Where are you taking my wife?!" he shouted, panic evident in his voice.

Her father glared at him. "Ka bar ta! Ka bar ta ta tafi! (Let her go! Let her leave!)"

Fathiya stood in the middle of the room, feeling like she was being pulled in two different directions. Her father and brothers were dragging her toward the door, her mother's sobs echoing in the background, while Farhan held on to her arm, pleading with her to stay.

"Please, Fathiya!" His grip on her arm tightened. "Give me one more chance!"

But her family wouldn't allow it. Her brothers started pulling her suitcases toward the door, and her father dragged her along, his voice still booming with disappointment. "Ba mu dauka za mu ga wannan rana ba (We never thought we'd see this day)."

Fathiya was torn, the weight of her emotions threatening to crush her. On one hand, her husband was begging her to stay. On the other, her family—her strength—was pulling her out of a marriage she wasn't sure she wanted to leave.

The house felt small, the walls closing in as everyone's voices blurred together. "What should I do? Ya Allah, help me! (Ya Allah, Ka taimake ni!)" Fathiya cried silently in her heart, the chaos around her overwhelming her thoughts.

The scene continued, loud and messy, as Fathiya stood frozen, unsure of which direction her life was about to take.
