Blaine's pov
When I wake up I quickly get dressed. I put on yellow skinny jeans, a white shirt and a yellow bowtie. To top it off I gell my hair back. I haven't done that in a year, but today feels special. I'm sure he will wake up today, I can feel it. I run down the stairs and grab my guitar. I race to the hospital and go up to Kurt's room. When I enter I see Burt sitting on a chair next to Kurt. He looks up at me and says:
'Great, you're here. I'm going to go home and get some sleep, call me if anything happens okay?'
'Yeah, of course, Burt.' I reply. 'Thanks son.' He says and gives me a pat on the shoulder. He walks out and closes the door behind him.
I sit down next to Kurt and take his hand. 'Hey Kurt. Uhm, I don't know if you can hear me, but I want you to know that we all want you to wake up. Me, your dad, the glee club. Everyone misses you Kurt. I miss you. You're a hero Kurt.' I say, grab my guitar and start playing...

Tears run down my face and I hold Kurt's hand again. I can't stop crying and I lay my head on his chest. Hearing and feeling his heartbeat underneath me gives me hope. It means he's still alive and fighting.
Kurt's pov
Since this morning I could hear everything clearly. I heard my dad talking to me about the girl I saved and that she was my doctor's daughter. What a coincidence. He also talked to me about how he now knew what I must've felt when he was in the hospital after his heartatack. And that he was sorry for putting me through that. After a while I heard someone else come in, I recognised immediately that it was Blaine. My dad left and Blaine started talking to me. I could hear every word. After that he started singing. It was so beautiful I wanted to cry. When he finished I heard him crying and felt his hand in mine. I want to even just give it the lightest squeeze, just to let him know I was okay. And I forgive him. Because he is my best friend and I need him in my life. I'm not going to let something stupid like a drunk kiss ruin that. Because that's all it was. Just a stupid drunk kiss. It happens. And I'm dealing with it. I was hurt by it, yes, but that was because I finally realised I was in love with him, and I felt betrayed.
Blaine lays his head on my chest. It kind of hurts me, but I don't mind. Blaine needs my comfort, and this is all I can give him. A tear streamed down my face. I felt it. I tried moving my hand and felt my heart speed up.
Blaine's pov
I felt Kurt's hearbeat speeding up, I sat up and saw a tear on his face. I used my thumb to wipe it away and kept my hand on his cheek. I felt his fingers move and his eyes started to twitch. His eyes fluttered open and immediately stared into mine. I was immediately pulled into his beautiful blue eyes. His beauty always seemed to mesmerize me.
'Hey.' I smiled at him widely.
'Hey.' He said back.
