Chapter 11- Another One Bites The Dust

"Control your husband," Vinnie said, walking past his sister.

"Vinnie. I'm beat here, He's working with a man with a contract," she said.

"Paisley. Don't you get it he's a rouge since I told him he fucked your life up," Vinnie said, wiping his hand across his face

"Why the fuck would you do that?" she said, smacking his shoulder.

"To think about it. Oh yeah, you married him out of spite, and had 7 of his kids," he exclaimed.

"Pipe down," she said.

"Your husband started this, so I'm going to end it," he said.

"Don't you dare drag her out of retirement, she's living peacefully," Paisley said.

"It was his choice," he said, walking away from her.

2 days later

2 days later Kinsley was in town to help out.

"Vinnie. Why do you need my help?" she asked.

"Does the name Aidan sound familiar?" he asked.

"Maybe. Had some encounters with him in my days of the drug ring he ran years before you started seeing him," Kinsley said.

"One of your old counterparts started working with him," he said.

"Which counterpart I have so many," she said.

"Drew. He asked Cameron to bail Aidan out of prison," he said.

"Right, his sister got caught in the loops with him," she said.

"Yeah, that," Vinnie said.

"You got a deal won't cost you a thing family deal. I will have a word with him," she said.

"Thanks, don't screw this up," he said.

"Vinnie. It's me I don't screw things up," she said.

After Kinsley left Vinnie's house she headed over to the rental house right down the street. While she was walking to the rental house she saw a familiar car in the driveway. It was her first husband's car, and saw him helping his pregnant wife out of the car. The guy looked over, and saw her took a quick glance, and looked away again as he was helping his wife.

22 years earlier

"No Kinsley, you had the chance to fix this, but you made this not any better. I lost my job because of you," Darien said.

"I can get you your job back, I promise," she said, looking at him.

"You broke the girl nose," he said.

"Ugh, she had it coming," she said.

"See. See that's why you don't take responsibility for your actions," shoving her on the couch.

This was the first occurrence that she got hurt by a guy.

Kinsley got out of her thoughts, and she finally made it to the rental house. She knocked on the door, and Drew answered, but when he saw who it was he tried closing the door quickly but failed as it was stopped by Kinsley's foot.

"Thought you could stop me," she said, smiling.

"Why are you here?" he asked.

"Giving you the opportunity to stop this madness before I enter the situation," she said.

"What do you mean?" he asked.
