Chapter 8 ~ stay ~

Start from the beginning

"considering that you're supposed to be as pure as the driven snow you certainly know how to flirt!" Sam said.

"who said I'm flirting, I was just telling the truth" Maskwa replied.

The pair left Maskwa's room and headed down to the kitchen where they both had coffee and toast then they were just heading out as his mother walked into the kitchen.

She wore a long white nightgown and had a patchwork quilt wrapped around her shoulders and a long braid hung down her back.

"good morning boy's, you should have woken me, I could have made you both breakfast" she said.

"don't worry about it mom, do you want me to make coffee for you before we go?" Maskwa replied.

"no, that's ok son" she replied smiling.

"see you later Mrs Maskawisiw" Sam said as he walked out of the door.

"see you later Sam, have a good day both of you" she said as she set about making coffee for her and her husband.

"your mom is really pretty especially with her hair down" Sam said as they walked to the other house.

"I see you have a thing for long hair, I'll have to warn my mom" Maskwa laughed.

"not at all, I was just making an observation" Sam replied blushing.

"I know, I'm just teasing you" Maskwa added.

Soon they were with the crew and getting their hair and make up done and weather permitting they would be done by tomorrow afternoon. Sam and Maskwa hadn't discussed what would happen beyond the photo shoot, they hadn't really had time to talk about anything to be fair.

The morning passed quickly then the guys stopped for lunch before starting again in the afternoon but the afternoon was a different matter, the photographer wanted them to do some outside shots wearing very little and Sam was shivering.

"it's ok Maskwa, I'm used to it" Sam said when Maskwa voiced his concerns.

"what if you get sick, I don't like this" Maskwa said glaring at the photographer.

"what, it's not my fault big guy, were all freezing our asses off here, not just Sam" the photographer said.

"yeah but at least you get to keep your coats on" Maskwa said.

"really babe, I'm ok" Sam said.

Maskwa wrapped his arms tightly around Sam's shoulders,

"Maskwa, what the fuck?" Sam swore.

"I'm not going to stand here and let you freeze to death baby so deal with it" Maskwa replied.

"ok let's hurry up and get these shots guys" the photographer called out and they spent the next thirty minutes posing in silk shirts to a backdrop of snow covered mountains before Maskwa called time and they went back to the house where he made Sam take a hot bath.

"are we done for today?" Maskwa asked the photographer who nodded then replied.

"look, I know you care for Sam and all but he is a seasoned model, he's been modelling since he was in his late teens so you ..."

"I know ... but that doesn't mean I have to like it" Maskwa replied cutting him off.

"none of us like it bro' but we all have bills to pay" the stylist said.

When Sam came back downstairs he had some colour in his cheeks again and Maskwa had made hot coffee for everyone.

"what's left to do now?" Sam asked the crew
