He finished his shower and after drying himself he dressed in clean jeans and his white chambray shirt then tied his hair back with his leather cord before going downstairs.

"tansê hello son, did you have a good day?" his mother asked him.

"yes mother, did you?"

"I did, thank you for asking, did you eat?" she asked her only son.

"I'm not hungry mother" Maskwa replied.

"but you didn't have breakfast this morning either" she replied.

"it's ok, I'll eat when I'm hungry, don't worry" Maskwa replied giving his mother a hug before heading outside.

Across the village, Sam and his team were taken to a boarding house but when the owner saw how many there were she said she wouldn't have room for them all.

She made a few phone calls to her friends in the village and found someone who was happy to take a guest for a few days so Sam was escorted to another house in the village where he met a lovely lady.

"I'm so sorry to inconvenience you ma'am" Sam said after the woman had shown him to the guest bedroom.

"that's ok' have you eaten?" the lady asked him with a smile.

"yes thank you ma'am, I ate at the farm where the horses came from" Sam replied.

"oh but that's almost halfway down the mountain, you must be hungry" she said taking Sams hand and leading him into the kitchen.

She pulled out a chair for him to be seated then cut a thick slice of crusty home made bread and plated it before sliding it across the table to him with the butter dish and Sam could see he was going to have to go on a strict diet as soon as shooting was over.

She poured him a cup of strong coffee and Sam wai'd forgetting he wasn't in Thailand any more.

"you're so handsome" she said as she passed him a pot of honey.

"thank you ma'am" Sam blushed.

"so when will you guys start working?" she asked, the whole village already knew about the photo shoot that was taking place in and around their village.

"mmm we're waiting for the other model to arrive, maybe tomorrow night for a night time shoot or the day after?"

"well make yourself at home, your room is next to my son's room so if you need anything just knock on his door, he'll be happy to help" she said as an older man walked in the kitchen.

"tansê nîwa, tansê young man" the older man said to Sam.

Sam had learnt that tansê meant hello so he repeated the greeting with a smile,

"you're one of the models?" the man asked him as he washed his hands at the kitchen sink.

"yes sir" Sam replied as he watched the man dry his hands before he came to sit at the table and his wife spoke to him in their native language.

"ah, so you are staying with us?" he asked.

"if that is ok sir?" Sam replied.

"so well mannered, maybe my boy can learn a few manners from you while you are here? he spoke gruffly.

"I wouldn't know about that sir?" Sam smiled just as his cell phone beeped.

"please, excuse me" Sam said as he stood up and left the kitchen to answer his phone.
