May 15, 1967 was when everything changed.

Linda Eastman met the Paul McCartney at a Georgie Fame concert at the Bag O'Nails club in London.

Linda was on a job assignment to take photographs of "swinging sixties musicians"

"Nice camera," Linda heard a confident voice say.

She looked, and it was Paul McCartney. She was speechless. She just snapped a picture of him.

Later he had invited her to the Speakeasy Club to see Procol Harum. Everything went smoothly. She loved his spunky personality, and those doe-eyes...

Four days later, the two went to have lunch for Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band at The Beatles manager, Brian Epstein's house in Belgravia.

At last, her assignment was complete. She flew back to New York with a heavy heart.

Call her crazy, but she knew it was fate.

In May of 1968, Paul and Linda met in New York as him and John were about to announce Apple Corps.

That same year, Paul had phoned her and asked her to fly to London.

They were married six months later in a small ceremony at the Marylebone Registry Office on March 12.
