Today's the day. Two days ago my dad said I could finish high school away from everything. I am in the car on the way to the airport, where there'll be A LOT of paparazzi, to see me off to "England."
"You ready for this?" I hear Toothless ask. I wonder what his name will be, I've only ever known him by Toothless.
"Yep, I think so," I say. "What will you go be there? Toothless sounds a little strange for a name, and you have teeth," I pointed out.
"We'll tell people that's my nickname, for forgotten reasons, and I'll go by Toothless mostly, but we can tell teachers that my name is Kevin."
We arrived at the airport, and I braced myself for that blinding flashes that would soon come.
After fighting our way through a crowd as big as a small town, we finally made it to the plane. We took off in the direction of the Atlantic, but as soon as we were at cruising altitude, we would be turning sound and start to fly towards Oregon. From a small, private landing strip, we'll drive to a small town called Berkly. There I will live until I graduate high school.
Time Skip (Hiccup's flight landed and they are walking around town trying to find their apartment)
Wow. This town is so small. I love it! It's a nice change from cities like New York, Chicago, and Washington D.C. Me and Toothless find our apartment building, and go inside to unpack the boxes that got there earlier.
Astrid's POV
I love this town. It's nice how it's small, and everyone knows everyone. Wait, scratch that. I see someone I don't know. He's walking down the street, and he looks like he's in awe. And what's with the guy in all black walking next to him in a protective way. Is this guy in a Witness Protection Program or something?
I walk over to introduce myself, but they go inside an apartment building. Well, I guess I'll just have to meet them later, I think. I remember what I was doing, shopping for school and I decided to get going. While shopping I wondered if that guy would be going to Berkly High School. I'll find out Monday I guess.
