TWO YEARS LATER

Blake felt crowded as she sat surrounded by a bunch of teenage girls. Yasmin sat next to her with her girlfriend of eight months on the other side of her. When Yasmin came out to Blake, she was so overwhelmed with happiness that she knew Yasmin was her best friend, and hopefully will be for a while. Yasmin had been there for her for ages. She was there for her when Blake and Calum broke up only after a year of dating. They broke up because his band that he had with Luke, Michael and Ashton (Yes, Ashton) - 5 Seconds of Summer - was getting awfully popular and he hardly had time to spend with Blake. It was a mutual breakup, although when the band left to tour with One Direction, the two slowly fell out of touch.

A month ago, Blake had received a letter in the mail from Calum, along with three tickets for their show when they came home. He also explained about how he missed her and couldn't wait to see her again. She smiled at that, and although they were broken up and he was with someone else now, they say you never forget your first love. Now, Blake sat among the fans that looked at her as if they recognized her. The girl next to her gasped and tugged on her friends arm, pointing to Blake as she whispered in her ear.

"You're Calum's ex girlfriend, aren't you?" The girl sneered.

"I prefer friend, thanks" Blake replied before turning to Yasmin who smiled at her reassuringly. "I don't want to be here" She whispered to Yasmin.

"I know," Yasmin still had a faint British accent, although she was starting to lose it, "But it would mean a lot to the boys, okay?"

Blake nodded and slumped in her seat. When 5 Seconds of Summer, or more commonly known as 5SOS among the fans, were formed, it was just Calum, Luke and Michael. They started off by posting covers on YouTube and right before their first show, they decided they needed a drummer. Of course, the only drummer they knew was Ashton and they agreed that without a drummer, there wasn't going to be a band. A year later, they were best friends with Ashton and the past forgotten.

The fans grew louder suddenly, screaming as a countdown started. Yasmin grasped Blake's arm and tugged her up, beaming as the three of them stood quietly. Michelle leaned in front of Yasmin and yelled something at Blake that she didn't quite hear, so Blake just smiled at her. Michelle was Blake's height and much shorter than Yasmin. She was curvy with a beautiful pale face. Her eyes shone bright green most of the time, unless it was raining, where they had more grey in them. She was bright and bubbly and Blake couldn't think of someone better for Yasmin.

Blake turned to the stage just as Ashton ran out. The other boys followed and they all seemed to be looking for something, or someone. As they sung, Blake admired Calum from the front row. She admired how much he had grown up in such a short amount of time and how he had somehow gotten taller and more muscular. Although he was concentrated on the song, his eyes continued to scan the front row until finally, they landed on Blake. His smile widened and he gave her a slight wave, causing the girls and boys around her to scream louder as they thought he was waving to them. Blake waved back, smiling shyly.

She knew then that it was true. You never forget your first love.

Blake sat at the table, her foot bouncing on the floor as she waited nervously. This morning she had received a text from Luke, telling her to meet the boys at this small diner later that night. She knew she was early - the text said 4 PM and it was only 3:30 - but she was anxious. She hadn't seen the boys face to face for almost six months, other than the concert last night. She had dressed in her best outfit - a pale blue dress that fell just above her knee and was made of light, flowy material that felt soft against her smooth thighs.

Calum stood outside the diner, his friends surrounded him.  Saying he was nervous was an understatement. His palms were sweating and no matter how many times he wiped them against his only pair of black jeans that weren't ripped, they remained moist. Luke patted his back and reassured him, telling him that it was okay. That it was only Blake and that she missed him just as much as he missed her. But it wasn't just Blake. It was the girl he regretted breaking up with. It was the girl he had dreamed about the entire tour. It was the girl who he had slowly stopped talking to and wish he hadn't. It was the girl he still loved, and will always love. It was Blake, the girl who he sometimes wished was the one kissing him instead of Mariana. And God, he knew that as soon as he walked in there and saw her, he wouldn't be able to control himself.

The bell above the glass door open, causing Blake's head to shoot up. Ashton walked in first, wearing his usual black jeans and graphic shirt. Michael and Luke followed, their hands joined by their sides. And then Calum. When he walked in, it was as if Blake had forgotten to breath, forgotten her own name. She inhaled deeply, her whole body frozen from shock. The moment he saw her, his shoulders relaxed and he broke into a large grin. The other boys stepped out of the way as Calum rushed forward. Blake had just stood up before Calum wrapped his strong arms around her small body and pulled her close. She took in his scent - the same one from back at school - and closed her eyes softly, her cheek pressed against his shoulder.

"Blake" Calum murmured against her hair. "Oh my God, Blake" He continued to murmur her name as he held her tight, refusing to let go.

"Calum" Blake choked out, suddenly feeling self-conscious as she noticed the few people that were in the cafe watching them. She looked over at Luke and Michael, then to Ashton who gave her a small wave. She pulled away from Calum, who still held her. "Calum, I want to see the other boys" She laughed gently. The laugh filled Calum with happiness - it was a sound he deeply missed.

"Sorry" He mumbled as he let go of her, watching her walk over to the other three boys. She hugged them individually, mumbling small I miss you's to them. Suddenly, he was aware of the plastic bag he was holding and joined them, holding it out to Blake. "I brought you something"

Blake's eyebrows pulled together as she took the bag off him and opened it, peering at the contents. "Oh, Calum" She grinned and pulled out a shirt, admiring it. "5SOS band shirts?" She laughed, shaking her head.

"Even worn by me" Calum laughed with her, pulling her into another hug. "I really missed you, B"
