One of the biggest questions majority of people wonder when they hear about friends with benefits relationships is if dating other people is allowed.
I mean it should be acceptable, no?
It's not like your binded to the person you fuck on the low.
It should be okay..
Yea no it's definitely okay.
"Lani? Did you think about my question from earlier?" Paige had asked between the kisses she'd been leaving on the brunettes neck. The kisses were hurried, as if the blonde was in a rush, no. More eager if anything.
"Huh?" Lana had currently been trying to hold in a moan. Paige always knew her soft spots.
"Oh shoot, P sorry I didn't respond earlier I had a shit practice and was distracted" the girl propped herself up on the elbows. She was no longer paying mind to her sinful actions at the moment instead she was now clarifying her rude dismissal of Paige's question earlier.
But before Paige could get a word out "I mean I don't see why us going on dates with people should be an issue. It's not like we are married, we are just friends" Lana's voice no longer was shaky if anything it was more matter of factly.
"Okay, just wondering cause I was thinking about asking someone out" Paige spoke as she lifted her head up
"Ooh what's she look like" Lana gave the girl knowing eyes, raising her eyebrows and showing a small smirk turn at her lips as she grew intrigued with Paige's new possible lover.
Paige's body was now leaned up, as her knees were around Lana's hips and falling onto the mattress beneath. Paige pulled her phone out and scrolled on some girls instagram, turning the screen to the girl under her.
"oh yea she's cute" Lana didn't mean for her tone to come out bored, but in her defense they were talking about other girls while Paige was straddled on top of her.
"What are you planning for your date?" Lana spoke again mostly trying to cover for her once unamused voice.
"I don't know I think I might take her to that new coff-" Paige's eyes lit up, it was obvious Paige was really into this girl, anyone could detect that from her smile.
Before Paige could tell her bestfriend her plan footsteps were heard coming closer to them mixed with the frozen silence between the two players inside the room only leading to their faces dropping simultaneously.
Paige jumped off of Lana's hips now positioned to have her legs layed on Lana's as her back was pressed to the wall.
Lana on the other hand grabbed her shirt from her side table quickly putting it on beneath the weight of paige's legs on her own.
"P do you wan-" The door cracking open made the girls avert their attention. Azzi and Paige had always been close so seeing the girl burst into the blondes room wasn't uncommon nor alerting.
"Oh hi LJ" Azzi cheery voice spoke between looking up and down from her phone. Her focus only fully on the two girls in front of her when she saw their widened eyes staring back into her.
"What the hell is wrong with you two?" Azzi was always motherly, constantly showing concern and always able to detect a lie.
"What?" Pure confusion, that's what it sounded like at least. "Oh I was just telling Lana where I'm taking Mckenna for our date" Paige thankfully was good at convincing, well technically it wasn't a complete lie.
"Oh my bad I shouldn't have barged in here" guilt had hung in Azzi's voice, but if anything Lana was more than pleased with Azzi's arrival, it simply opened the door for her escape from an awkward conversation with her blonde friend. However, she wasn't thankful towards Azzi's lack of knocking. She would have been content not rushing to put her clothing back on.
"You're all good Az, I was just about to head out to lunch with Aubs" Lana spoke again now pushing her self off the bed before saying good byes to the girls.
Paige was good at coming up with fast excuses. Lana on the other hand completely lied to her two friends, but before looking back and checking their faces to see if they had caught on she found herself walking to the common area of their dorm. Well, she was positive that Aubrey would be down for lunch, but she forgot to add the key detail that she was yet to ask her other roommate.
Lucky Aubrey Griffins had been laying on the couch in their living room playing Fortnite.
"Hey Aubreyyyyy" Lana spoke sweetly
"Oh hey LJ" Aubrey still distracted from Fortnite
"wanna go to lunch with me" a smile evident in her words.
"yea sure what are we gonna eat?" Aubrey was always reliable in that sense. Always ready to drop whatever she was doing in order to hang out, well at least with Lana. The two girls were extremely close with one another.
"Chick- Fil- A? as if they read each others minds the girls were gone in an instant.
Anything for Chick- Fil- A.
But a question still stayed afloat in the back of Lana's mind. Why did Azzi apologize for barging in? It wasn't the first time Azzi had barged in on the two girls hanging out. Well I guess this time they had been mid hook up. But Azzi didn't know that. Did it have to do with the topic of Paige's possible new girlfriend? Did Azzi think that Lana would react negatively towards the topic? But Lana had no reason to act weird about it. The blonde and brunette were best friends at the end of the day. That's more than one question. Lana couldn't help but feel like she was overthinking. Mostly because she was. It was a simple apology. It was not that deep. Why is she making it seem like life or death in her mind.
