"This movie is complete dog shit" Lana spoke as she stood up from the couch and began walking. The brown haired girl isn't one to complain often, usually being easy going, simply satisfied. But something about cheesy murder mystery movies never seemed to interest her. They were constantly the same, the rich person dies and spoiler alert the butler did it.

"Oh girl boo come back, it ain't even that bad" KK Arnold had pleaded for the girl to return her face printed with puppy eyes and a faux pout.

"You know what? I think my mom is actually calling me right now" Lana now facing the four girls who laid sprawled out onto her couch. She pointed at her phone with a slight smirk and brought the glowing screen to her ear only to begin talking to nothingness. "Yeah super important i'm gonna have to go" she spoke again as she walked into her room.

The suite was shared by Ice, Paige, Lana and Aubrey. And practically stolen by KK Arnold. The teams new freshman had quite the personality, loud, bubbly and could always become friends with the most random people. The youngest girl didn't live there but by the amount of time she spent in the dorm she could have convinced the neighbors.

Lana did end up talking to her sister on the phone. Madison was fifteen years old and always had something to say. Being on the phone with her was more of a one way conversation. But Lana didn't mind, instead she enjoyed being kept in the loop with her family members and their lives despite being states away.

But knowing Maddie their "conversation" continued until 1 am. Lana hadn't paid attention to the clock nor the fact that the soft voices from the T.V. no longer filled the living room.

Instead she heard angry voices coming from her phone, her attention now shifted to her mother across the screen, who scolded her sister for being up at such an hour.

Lana scrolled on instagram reels for another thirty minutes. As she now shifted her head with tiredness to read her clock. 1:34 a.m.

The girl was aware that as an athlete sleep is crucial. And she definitely would have gone to sleep if it weren't from a text message from her best friend. Paige.

The two girls had an interesting relationship. From the moment Paige had given a tour to Lana her upon her freshman arrival the two instantly clicked. They would send tik toks to one another, go on car rides and get food, and always be each others partners in practice (that was whenever Geno let them choose).

The friendship started off innocent, playful jokes and naive smiles. But then again, nothing lasts forever.

Not that this change was a bad thing. It all started 2 months into the school year, the two girls found themselves awake at a late hour and as one thing led to another the girls found themselves tangled in one another's arms in the morning.

From then on the pair found themselves texting each other pertaining to small visits in the other girls room.

For many reasons they decided not to tell anyone. They knew that this new formed bond would only cause issues between their group of not only teammates but friends.

They didn't regret doing the things they did behind closed doors. Instead, they got a high off of the constant sneaking around and secrets, mainly because most of their live was documented by the media and plastered on a tv screen.

And as though it were a routine, Lana had knocked lightly on the door before a blonde figure stood before her. With tired eyes that somehow managed to carry lust within them as they held eye contact with brown ones only a few inches below. No matter how tired those two girls were they would always answer the others desperate texts as if it were second nature.
