"Percy!" I called.

Hecate had come just now and Percy was still nowhere to be found.

I started getting worried, I couldn't have him die thinking I didn't want to be his friend.

Luckily, Hecate came and helped. She cleared the forest with her magic and through the corner of my eye, I saw him, limping.

I quickly grabbed him before he hit his head on a rock.

We rushed him to the infirmary where Will, a younger boy helped me since everyone else was sleeping.

It was quite late, the Harpy's were already out but I couldn't really care.

I prayed to the gods, hoping he was okay.

"What's wrong with him?" Will asked.

"His arm." I said.

Will grabbed ambrosia and poured it into his mouth, which he promptly choked on but mainly swallowed.

"It's poisoned." Will said.

We stayed there for a while just praying we didn't give him too much ambrosia and he wouldn't just suddenly start burning.

"Annabeth?" He coughed.

My head shot up, "Are you okay?" I asked him but he avoided my gaze.

"I need to talk to Chiron."

"What?"

"Can someone get him?" He asked.

Will offered to go and Hecate escorted him.

"What's wrong?"

"Luke." He said sadly.

"No, no, is he okay? Did he get hurt too?"

He stayed silent, "Is he okay?" I asked getting really scared.

I hadn't seen him either but I thought he could take care of himself. I was worried more about Percy since he was still new and-

"He did this to me." Percy said.

"What?"

"He summoned a scorpion."

"No, he wouldn't do that."

He gulped, "The prophecy warned me. It said that I would be betrayed by the one I called a friend. I thought it was you, I thought it was already fulfilled."

"But it wasn't." He nodded.

"Luke talked about.. titans overthrowing the gods."

"Kronos."

"Yes, he talked about him too."

"He did this?" I was hoping he'd say this was some twisted joke.

"Yes."

I felt tears form, how could he.

Chiron walked into the infirmary with great difficulty.

We explained to him what Percy just told me and he nodded grimly.

"Thank you, Percy." He said. "I'll send this information to the gods."

**

The ambrosia worked wonders and soon Percy was fine and ready to go.

Hecate transported the both of us and we walked into the train quietly.

"I'm sorry." Percy said. "I know he was.. a friend."

Anger boiled inside me and I clenched my fist, how could he? Was he blackmailed? That makes the most sense. He was probably blackmailed. Maybe I could convince him to leave.
