In her imagination, Janani saw herself stepping through time, surrounded by the sights and sounds of ancient India-the bustling markets, majestic palaces, and vibrant festivals. The air was filled with the aroma of spices and the melodies of traditional music. She felt a sense of wonder and longing, wishing for a way to bridge the gap between her present world and the glorious past she yearned to experience.

Just then, as Janani pondered her thoughts in the garden, she received a message from her friend: "Hey!"

Janani's face lit up with a smile as she replied eagerly, "Hello!"

Janani's friend messaged her: "Did you attend the maths class today? I had internet issues so couldn't attend."

"Yeah, I attended. Sir taught how to find the roots of a quadratic equation," Janani replied.

"Did you take notes? Can you please send them to me?" her friend asked.

"Okay," Janani responded, preparing to share the notes.

Excitedly, Janani began typing her thoughts: "Can you believe that our country was once the most powerful in the world? I wish..."

Before she could finish her message, she received a reply from her friend: "Thank you. Bye."

Janani's heart sank with a sense of isolation. "How come no one resonates with my feelings?" she wondered aloud. "Oh, Krishna!, will I ever find someone equally interested in these historical things? Maybe not. How unlucky I am to be born in this time!"

Lost in thought, Janani continued her walk, her mind filled with whimsical fantasies. "If only an Aladdin's lamp appeared in my path," she mused, "and granted me three wishes! My first wish would be to be born as a courageous princess centuries ago here in Hindustan. That's all - No need of a second or third one!"

As Janani walked along lost in her thoughts, she suddenly stumbled and fell, obstructed by an object lying on the ground.

Ah, it seems the object was not a lamp after all. Perhaps Janani's imagination got the best of her in that moment of excitement.

What would it be then?
