Leanna's hands shook as she fumbled with her belongings, her mind a whirlwind of emotions as she struggled to contain the rage simmering within her. Every breath felt like fire in her lungs, every heartbeat a reminder of the injustice that had been inflicted upon her.

As she stuffed her belongings into her bag, her resolve hardened like steel. She vowed in that moment that she would never allow her sisters to be subjected to the cruelty of a family that reveled in causing pain.

Just then, the door swung open, and Isabelle and Sophie entered the room, their laughter fading into stunned silence as they took in the sight before them. Leanna's eyes burned with righteous fury as she turned to face them, her jaw clenched tight with determination.

"Leanna, what happened?" Isabelle gasped, her voice tinged with concern as she rushed to her sister's side, her eyes wide with shock.

Sophie's brow furrowed in confusion as she took in Leanna's disheveled appearance. "What's going on?" she asked, her voice trembling with worry.

Leanna's gaze flickered between her sisters, her heart heavy with the weight of her emotions. "We're leaving," she declared, her voice firm and unwavering. "Now."

Sophie rushed forward to embrace Leanna, her sister winced in pain, causing Sophie to recoil in shock. "Lea, what's wrong?" she asked, her voice trembling with concern as she reached out to touch her sister's shoulder.

Leanna's breath caught in her throat as she fought back the wave of pain coursing through her body, her hands shaking as she continued to pack her bag. "I'm fine," she forced out through gritted teeth. "Just help me pack."

Isabelle's eyes brimmed with tears as she watched her sister's distress, her heart heavy with worry. "Lea, please," she pleaded, her voice choked with emotion. "What happened? Who did this to you?"

Leanna's jaw clenched tight as she struggled to contain her emotions, her gaze flickering between her sisters. "It's nothing," she insisted. "Just help me pack. We need to leave."

Sophie, scared of her sisters rage, quickly grabbed her clothes and started stuffing them in her suitcase.

Isabelle just stood there looking at Leanna, tears falling down her face.

Seeing her sister's tears only fueled Leanna's determination to protect them. Despite her own pain and anger, she couldn't bear to see Isabelle upset.

Leanna's resolve hardened as she turned to face her younger sister, her expression softening slightly as she reached out to wipe away Isabelle's tears. "Hey, don't cry," she murmured gently. "Everything will be okay. We're leaving, remember?"

Isabelle sniffled, nodding her head as she tried to regain her composure. "I know," she whispered. "But I hate seeing you like this. I hate that you're hurting."

Leanna's heart clenched at her sister's words, a surge of protectiveness washing over her as she gathered Isabelle into a tight embrace. "I'm okay, Isabelle," she murmured softly. "But I can't stay here. Not tonight. And you two won't either."

Isabelle nodded and quickly grabbed her things.

"Leanna, its getting dark outside. Will we be able to get a taxi to go to the airport? The drive was already two hours," Sophie stated with concern.

Leanna hadn't thought everything through. She just wanted to get away from Athena.

Leanna's brow furrowed with concern as she realized the logistical challenge they faced. "You're right, Sophie," she admitted, her mind racing with possibilities. "We might have trouble finding a taxi at this hour, especially with such short notice."
