"I'm gonna throw up," I groaned as I felt everything around me spinning and I was scared to open my eyes. "Tom?"

"Here," he answered with a groan. "That was a horrible feeling. Are you okay?"

"M'fine," I moaned rolling onto my stomach after realizing I was lying on the ground. "Spinning. Make stop."

"Hold on," Tom mumbled and I whined resting my forehead on the cool ground. A moment later my body went warm and then cold before I felt everything stop spinning and the feeling that I needed to throw up went away. "Better?"

"What was that?" I asked slowly pushing myself up into a sitting position.

"Anti-nausea spell," Tom said and I looked at him. "Werewolves get nauseous easily after the full moon and I created the spell since the potion doesn't work."

"Oh," I nodded and looked around. "Where are we?"

"I believe we are at the Slytherin Estate," Tom said as he pushed to his feet. "The box is or was a portkey and I activated it when I spoke in parseltongue. But I don't know where we are exactly."

"Great," I sighed and pushed to my feet pulling my wand out and casting a lumos charm to see our surroundings better. "Snakey theme."

"Better snakes than lions," Tom snorted.

"I'm not arguing that," I said with a grin. "Anyway, let's go look around."

"Just be careful," Tom said. "I don't think anyone has been in here since Salazar died."

"I know," I huffed as we split up to cover more ground.

Finishing with the first floor I headed up the stairs to see what was up there and I noticed a set of double doors at the end of the hallway so I skipped the rest of the rooms and went to see what that room was. Pushing the doors open I found another set of stairs so I carefully walked up them and found they lead up to an attic that was transformed into a huge library.

"Mione would love this," I mumbled to myself as I walked further into the room taking note of all the books started everywhere. In the middle of the attic, there was a small fireplace with what looked like a normal portrait of Salazar Slytherin. Walking closer so I could inspect the portrait I noticed that he looked nothing like the other portraits that I had seen of him. His face was hard but I could see warmth in his eyes and as I looked closer I saw that hiding behind one of the many snake figurines on the fireplace top was a lion figurine. "That's odd."

"What's odd?" Tom asked from behind me and I yelped nearly dropping the glass figurine.

"Circe," I gasped spinning on my heel and glaring at him. "Don't do that."

"Sorry," Tom chuckled and I stuck my tongue out at him. "What did you find?"

"A library," I said sarcastically before holding up the glass lion. "I found a little lion figurine hiding behind a snake. And Salazar Slytheirn's portrait."

"I see that," Tom said. "I wonder why it is up here though. It could get damaged by anything."

"I think it has some kind of protection charm on it," I said setting the lion back on the fireplace. "It's the only thing not covered in dust."

"There's something engraved on the frame," Tom gasped and he stepped closer. "Memoria retinet praeteritum et praesens."

Before I could ask what it meant the portrait glowed brightly and had to blink several times before I could see anything again.

"What was that?" I asked rubbing my eyes as the bright spots went away.

"A spell of some sort," Tom said and I could see him rubbing his eyes. "I don't know what its purpose was tho."

"WHO DARED INTRUDE IN MY HOME?!" a voice boomed and I stared wide-eyed at the now glaring portrait of Salazar Slytherin.
