"yes your grace" Mellos told him nodding his head "he was found to have passed gently in his sleep his remains are being prepared by the silent sisters"

"has his mother and sister been notified" Marcella asked knowing that was the only family the man had

"yes princess both have been notified and are on their way to the keep now" he replied making her nod

"the succeeding Lord Commander, Ser Harrold would like to make haste in finding Ser Ryam's replacement on the King's guard"

"The kings guard must be restored to its full complemented of seven with the help of the hand I have invited a number of fine candidates to court all have passed fair trials" Ser Harrold informed them all

"four ships have now been lost, the last one was flying my banner" Lord Corlys said agitated walking into the room

"the step stones have grown into conflagration yet you sit here and dither about court business".

"if you have something to discuss Lord Coryls the please sit down" Otto said not liking the tone the man had

"I want to know what is to be done about my ship and my men" Coryls countered making Marcella bite her lip in thought

"the crown will compensate you for your ships and crew and make offerings to the men's families" Otto informed the man

"I don't want compensation I want to seize the steps stones by force burn out his crab feeder" Coryls said banging his fist onto the table

"I am not prepared to start a war with the free cities" Viserys told his sternly

"these pirates are not the Free Cities who do you think provides them with their ships and tender?"

"in all of its history, my Lord. The Seven Kingdoms have never entered open war with free cities. were that to happen, the losses would be incalculable".

"What reason does the Crabfeeder have to fear us? The King's own brother has been allowed to seize Dragonstone. and fortify it with an army of his gold cloaks, Corlys remarked

"Daemon has been squared there for over half a year without even a protest from the Crown" he continued

"i'll caution you Lord Corlys a seat at the Kings table does not make you his equal," Otto warned him

"Daemon is allowed in his own ancestral home Dragonstone is my castle as heir and my uncle will stay their as he wishes and the gold cloaks are under his command so their is no need for the crown to act" Marcella told the man making him nod

"I have acted Corlys" Viserys told him. "I've sent envoys to Pentos and Volantis to see if we might find common cause. Ships and men are at the ready. The step zones will be settled in time."

"you have dragon riders father send us" Rhaenyra said and the men chuckles

"it is not that simple Rhaenyra" Viserys responded

"it would be a show of force" she said

"no it wouldn't be at first glance it would strike fear in those pirates but when they realize they are not meant for war they wont care" Marcella said shaking her head making everyone look at her as Rhaenyra glared

"We have Caraxeus and Daemon a bonded pair that are ready to fight and go to war and sea smoke with Laenor as those two dragons are the only war dragons"
