"Dunno, ask him." John muttered, snatching Smit's phone before he could even put it down.
"Okay, rude, you could've just asked."
"What games you got?"
"Please don't bring that back."
"Bring what back, my ass?"
"The meme, dipshit!"
"You want my phone too?" John asked, already placing it on the counter.
"Why? Im not that petty."
"Suite yourself." John grumbled, leaving his phone unlocked anyways.
Truthfully, John wasn't too worried about Smits contacts, the man was a very social person regardless, and John couldn't be bothered to care anyways.
He still scrolled through them anyways.
Have to know new friends before you stumble upon them randomly, right?
Only problem with his plan was that Smit's contacts were not organized in the slightest, and there weren't any names on any of his contacts besides Johns, which was a fitting heart emoji, and very close friends.
That and 'shitface'
He could only assume who that was, because Smit never responded to them.
All of Smits friends had either completely normal names, or wild ones that only Smit could've given them, his contacts were like going to a rodeo for the first time.
Regardless of their extreme unorganized manner, John went through them purely out of curiosity at the sight of a contact named: Doodoosharts. how immature, yet it still made him laugh.
"Who the fuck did you name Doodoosharts?" John asked, completely amused at the smile on Smits face.
"Doo? Yeah, he deserves that name." Smit giggled.
"Alright, if you say he does. I still feel bad. Also, how do you feel when someone sees the popup when he texts you?"
"We don't talk about that-"
"Fair." John shrugged, continuing the incredulous amount of scrolling. How does one man acquire these many numbers?
He'd ran across Soup, Yumi, McNasty, and Doo as people he hadn't met yet, and he also noticed that Pezzy had last talked to Smit about how crosswalks should be legal to hit people on sometimes because people cross when they're not supposed to.
Odd thing to be talking about?
Matt was talking about his ZX10R, and repairs before the trip.
Droid hadn't been talking to him since 3 weeks ago.
Swag was named Swaggle.
Tyler was named WildcatTywer.
Soup was talking about how trains worked, and how they're magical. (Somehow)
Yumi didn't even type coherent sentences.
McNasty had last sent a meme.
Doo was complaining about something John didn't care about.
Eli was arguing with Smit, but it seemed friendly.
Jericho must've been Tucker.
Fl0m hadn't even said anything yet.
Grizzy was asking where they were.
Puffer hadn't been texted since they'd gotten here.
What a disaster, so many conversations to keep up with at once, how did he do this? Most of it was just absolute horseshit conversations, but still, how could one man keep up with this fluently.
John barely texted anyone besides Smit most times. Call him anti-social, but it's just not being overwhelmed with people.
How Smit could always deal with people, even if he does get a bit heated with them, would always be a mystery to John. And these people mentioned are only the named ones currently texting him.
Did he remember every number too? Surely, since he didn't even name them.
How many of these numbers are just contractors or dealerships?
Maybe Smit didn't even know, and John wouldn't be surprised if he didn't.
Smit would probably name a dealership 'Big daddy Ducati' or something, knowing him.
"Quit side eyeing me." Smit grumbled.
"You need to sort this."
Indeed he did.
