Vera's pov

Currently me, Ryder, and Ethan were playing pool tag but don't let the name fool you the game is very complex. The runners, run around the pool and the person who is it starts out in the water for five seconds until then the runners get as far away from the person who is it in those five seconds.

And if the person who is it catches you. They get to throw you into the pool and there also it next. So right now I was being chased around the pool by Ryder who was gaining on me fast since he was in Lacrosse and was more physically active then me. Ethan thought it would be fun if both of them were against me which was totally unfair.

"Guys this is so not fair" I said while running.

"Both of you are more physically active then me and faster and it's just not fair two against one" I said while continuing to run until I bumped into Ryder who was smirking down at me.

He picked me up and threw me into the pool. Since it was currently night the pool was kind of cold but not freezing since we had pool heaters. When I emerged from the water both Ryder and Ethan were laughing there asses off.

I hopped out of the pool and pushed both into the water. Both resurface with scowls on there faces.

"Alright as fun as this has been I have to go shower and change, thanks to some people" I said while glaring at the two.

Both climbed out and followed me inside were the staff gave us clean towels that just came out if the drier so it was nice and warm on our cold bodies.

"Eleanor could you please show Ryder and Ethan the bathroom so they can take a shower. And please make sure to have clean clothes ready for them. Tell Will the head chef to have dinner ready for us preferably Pasta." I said while walking towards the stairs. I headed to my room and pulled out a maroon v-neck and another pair of black nike shorts.

I hoped into the shower and cleaned to chlorine off of me. When I was finished I dried my hair with a towel and went downstairs to see Ethan was already out of the shower.

"Wow you take fast showers" I said while siting down next to him in the living room.

"All guys do" Ethan said.

"Ryder doesn't he takes like 3 hours" I said while slightly chuckling.

"Like I said before all guys do" Ethan said while smirking, I playfully glared at him.

"Hey watch it that's my best friend your talking about" I said. He lifted his hands up as a sign of surrender I just smirked.

About 4 minutes later Ryder came down the stairs in sweat pants which hung loose on his hips and a maroon v-neck. I laughed and stood up from the couch and led both boys to the dining room were the pasta was along with soda and garlic bread and a salad for the side.

I sat down at the end on the table while Ryder sat on my right and Ethan sat on my left which had Ryder and Ethan facing each other.

"Hey Ryder did you notice something" I said.

"No what?" Ryder asked.

"We're matching" I said while poking his stomach. At the same time he went to take a drink from his soda so he ended up coughing a lot which made me laugh because of his expression.

"Are you okay" I asked while slightly giggling now. Ryder just nodded and continued eating like nothing happened.

I started eating while making conversation with Ethan and Ryder. After we finished I had the staff clean up the table while Ethan told us he had to leave.
