He was breathing heavily, an arrow stuck at his biceps and his arms were bleeding through the clothes he wore. The clothes were drowned and darkened in blood and soon, he fainted.

Previous whispers now grew into shouts and the terror spread throughout the crowd. The entire place was in chaos and the fright was visible on each and every face.

The hands that stopped mid air now went straight towards his waistband to retrieve the sword he had been recently given ownership of. He strode towards the guard and looked down at his lifeless body. He couldn't survive the bleed.

" हर एक खून का बदला लिया जाएगा" .....he declared loudly glancing at his bride. Now, she matched his glance and mirrored his rage, but stood at her spot still.

Her silence irked him and he proceeded towards where the guard came from, but his steps came to a quick halt.

Infront of him stood his rival, scratches all over his face and bleeding limbs. Nevertheless, his grip on the sword was intact and his eyes screamed of the authority he already had.
A sly smirk was flashed by Agastya Rajvardhan Malik towards his rival.

His glance moved to the girl standing right behind aadhrit and a flicker of emotions flashed through his orbs.

But he was caught off-guard by a sound of slashing and looked to see his enemy's blade raging towards him. He was quick to dodge the blow but suffered a slight cut on his cheeks.

" अगस्त्य राजवर्धन मलिक, गलत पंगा ले लिया इस बार. " .....aadhrit yelled.

" सही कहा आधरित, गलत पंगा ले लिया, लेकिन तुमने " ....agastya said as he dodged another blow, but this time it was a clean dodge and not even his hair had been harmed.

Soon the clashing sound of swords echoed the place. The coronation hall had become their battleground and the prize witnessed it right behind them.

The crowd had all ran away to the safest places they could find and now only three persons remained.

The girl stood still even now, unresponsive and unfazed.

Another person, stood close by, but her tears made all the noise. She looked at the two men fighting and clutched her chest with her hands, muttering silent prayers.  Her son had bought this upon the kingdom, this curse that she had been warned about. She understood that it was impossible to win even though she never doubted her son's abilities.

Ruh was brought out of her trance when she sensed a sudden pressure on her foot. She looked down.

" Please save my son. I beg you. I know what he did to you is unforgivable, but please don't let him die."......the pleads of the queen of the rajvanshi's, whose place she would've taken by now if the circumstances hadn't unfolded the way they did now echoed in her ears.

Her eyes widened, and finally a few drops of tears fell from her eyes. She pulled her legs back instantenously when she saw the queen trying to catch them. But she was held now.

" रूह बेटा, मैं एक रानी नहीं हु, मैं कुछ भी नही हु, मैं सिर्फ एक मां हु और मैं तुमसे यह भीख मांगती हु मेरे बेटे को बचालो. उसकी नादानियों को माफ करदो. उससे उसका जीवन छीन ने से बचालो. मैं तुमसे बिनती करती हु."

The cuts and slashes made by the two swords were almost equal initially, but soon the slashes of one of them dominated over the other.

Just a little speck of dust and the sword fell down from aadhrit's hand.

" इस गलती को राजवंश हमेशा याद रखेगा."  Agastya said as his sword proceeded towards aadhrit unguarded. He would slash him down.

But ........

A loud clash followed and he looked to see his sword blocked by the blade of another sword.

His eyes fell on the owner of the sword dressed heavily in the maroon attire. Their eyes matched.

" यह युद्ध अभी खत्म नहीं हुआ. " ....the female voice echoed.

Agastya smiled at her, and let go of his sword which had been victorious till now. The metal hitting the ground made a loud sound, but another thud followed it as Agastya dropped down on his knees infront of her.

The tip of the sword now pointed right at his chest, but his eyes were glued to her. He couldn't be less worried about the sword going right into his chest.

" लड़ो मुझसे अगर हिम्मत हैं तो. " ........the woman screamed at his face.

He laughed idiotically for a while then stopped abruptly.

" अपनी रानियों के आगे तलवार तानना मालिकों के असूलों के खिलाफ हैं. " ....he worded as he looked her dead in the eyes.

" और वो राजा ही क्या जो अपनी रानी के आगे ना झुका हो. "

" मैं नहीं हु तुम्हारी रानी, उठो और लड़ो मुझसे. " .....she screamed once again.

He smiled once again.

" मैं एकबार फिर कहता हु. मालिकों की रानी के आगे कोई तलवार नहीं तानता."
"कोई नहीं."
