"thank you," zofia utters to the taximan; she reaches for her silky ebony hair, darting it from her eyes as she rummages through her sac-a-main.

pill bottles, lipsticks, rings, and candies loom over the pouch, her chipped, nearly-faded green nails hastily moving things to the side as she mutters to her self

the taximan sucks in air through his teeth, lightly tapping his index on the steering wheel's broad fabric edge, "you might want to hurry miss .. if you want to catch your plane on time."

she lifts her head slightly, her eyes illuminated from the opulent gibbous moon.
a soft chuckle escapes her lips, her expression lightening. she pulls out a roll of crumpled paper bills, handing them to him, "here," she smiles

the waft of white wine jumps off of it and taxes the chauffeur off-guard
"what's that smell?" he queries suddenly, his fingers chafing against its sandpaperish quality

zofia grabs her handbag, her heals landing on the coal streetwalk beneath her as she straightens her puffer coat, exiting the vehicle

as she walks away towards the airport, the taximan rolls the window down, his face sour as his vexed mouth opens, "what's up with this smell!" he bellows, his cold breath wafting out into the winter air

she swiftly turns her heel towards him, "it's you!" she scowls, running off towards the entrance
