Chapter 4
I could feel the intensity of lights beaming on my body. Was i still outside? I could hear nothing nor smell nothing, strange because last thing I remember was laying in leaves and dirt and hearing birds chirping away. I open my eyes and look around. I wasn't in the forest any more, instead I was in a white room which had no windows. I take a glance at myself, I'm in a white gown that flows to the floor. I can feel pain all over my body. I see a machine next to me which is connected to my arms and chest. Where am I?
I wanted to scream from the rooftops. "Alex!"
No reply...
I could feel my pulse racing, the machine started making noises. SHIT! Strange people in white came flooding in to examine me.
"Where am I?" I said shaking to one of the women.
"Please clam down, everything will be okay. Your in a special hospital. Please don't panic and don't touch anything." She replied.
The warmth in her tone was relaxing. If I'm in hospital then why does this room look so enclosed? Again I could feel my pulse rising. My palms became hot and started glowing. I see all the people staring at me as if they had seen it before. I was probably more confused than them. I heard one doctor say hurry and then all of a sudden I could feel an excruciating pain in my arm. They must have injected me with something. It burned as it passed through my veins.
"Ahhhhhhhhh" I screamed
It hurt so much I couldn't take it any more. I tried forcing my eye lids open as I felt them closing in on me but I lost the battle.
