Fae sits up slowly and she pushes herself up on her right arm. She blinks a few times and slides herself so her feet are on the floor. Her hair is out of its braid. She idly runs her hand through her hair.
Guais? The older man comes over and he says "you shouldn't be awake yet..." Fae simply raises an eyebrow as he hands her a vial. Fae sniffs the vial before she says "I don't need this" she holds it out to him and he says "you must rest..-.." Fae stands up and begins to look around.
"What pray tell what you are looking for?" He asks.
Fae finds a piece of bread and she tears off a chunk. Then her eyes widen and she drops it. "I..I'm sorry" she says stepping away.
Guais comes over and picks up the bread and holds it out to Fae. "Take it" he says. Fae takes the bread and she slowly walks back over to the patient bed. Fae takes a bite out of the bread and the door bursts open and Merlin says
"Guais Arthurwantstoknowif- ..." be breaks off when he sees Fae.
He lets out a breath.
"Arthur wanted to know when you were awake...." He says going over and getting a piece of bread and a cup of water from a pitcher.
Then he brings it to Fae and hands it to her.
Fae carefully takes a sip of water and Merlin takes it and puts it on the table. A moment passes and then the door opens and Arthur himself enters and closes the door before the dark man enters. A knight enters with him and Fae hears him say "don't let him in" the knight nods and he walks over to Fae who looks at him curiously.
He glances at Merlin and then at Guais. Then he pulls up a stool
and sits down.
"You intrigue me." He says. Fae tilts her head and he says "tell me why the dragon did not harm you"
"I had no intent of harming him." Fae says carefully.
"What did you say to that...what was that anyway?"
Fae sighs and runs a hand through her hair
"It's...it's gone now..it shouldn't return" Fae says her voice soft.
"What is gone?" Arthur says.
Fae closes her eyes and then she says "the dark sprites ...they're ...they're the cousins of the dark elves." Fae opens her eyes and he says
"what did you tell it before it left?"
"I told it to leave" Fae says.
"Why would it listen to you?" he asks.
"My uncle" Fae says simply
"Where is your uncle? I will have two of my knights take you there" he says.
Fae shakes her head "he's ...I don't know if he's even alive" Fae says
"That still doesn't explain why or how you came out of my fireplace."
Fae looks down and she wraps her cloak around herself. "I...I was running away from people and somehow...I ended up in your fireplace ...it doesn't make any sense"
"It was an accident." Arthur says.
Fae nods still looking down. He sighs and
says "it doesn't explain the magic"
"Where I am from it is a rare ability." Fae says softly.
"Where are you from?" He asks.
"I..." Fae looks at his face and she sighs. "A place ...called Gallifrey..."
