NYC MIDNIGHT STARK TOWER
Loki sits in a large chair holding Fae who is sleeping peacefully curled up next to him.
Thor brings his brother a cup of something and Loki takes a sip. He smiles. "You remembered"
"Of course I did. You hate coffee."
"It's bitter" Loki says and he looks out the large window at the skyline.
"We will need to speak about what happened brother" Thor says.
"What's the point? It won't change how he'll react."
"I think you've been punished enough...I didn't I never intended- ..." Loki waves his hand cutting him off.
"Don't. Please don't do that. I suspect you've already made your mind up about me. I've accepted that. But her..." he cuts himself off as Tony walks in and sits on the couch next to Thor.
"Oh good you got reindeer games to talk"
"I despise that name" Loki says taking another sip of his white hot chocolate
"So?" Tony says. He takes a long swig of something before he says.
"So how was TORCHWOOD?"
"Exactly like one would expect. They knew where I was from and therefore not human so the laws and protections written didn't apply to me...or sadly Fae"
"Who exactly are they?" Thor asks
"They claim to be a task force committed to eliminating alien threats to earth. But mostly they capture and experiment on anything they deem abnormal." He stops as Fae seems to wake up but she just turns onto her side her hand going to Lokis chest.
"She wouldn't tell me where she is from. Only that she fled because of a war. She was found almost as soon as she came"
"I know. I was contacted." Tony says.
"What?" Tony puts his hands up and he says "Torchwood came and apparently they were willing to pay M16 for her so they for custody of her. There wasn't anything I could do...I didn't have any ..."
"Power" Loki says and Tony can only nod.
"They had her restrained like a ...crazy person. It was horrible." He stands up and goes over to the large windows.
"No one should go through what she did. Human or not" Tony says.
"As it stands we would do well not to bring attention to ourselves. We would be better off in the background gaining support telling people what is going on in a secure network. Allies...spread out in an underground ..." Loki says quietly.
"I thought you'd want to smash some heads" Loki shakes his head at tony.
"Dealing with them directly would not work. We must be patient. In addition Fae must be kept safe. We bring attention to ourselves well have every agency swarming here. No she mustn't be known to them at all" Loki says.
"You seem like you've thought a lot about this" Thor says
"What else did I have to do? Of course it's gibberish and only I can read it. But I've developed a plan to rid the world of the evil of Torchwood.
"But there is something else" Loki says quietly.
"What possibly could there be?" Tony asks
"Fae is magical" Loki says.
"Like you brother?" Thor asks.
"Not quite in a different way. ....you see...she knows...she can write"
