Yn and Jimin's relationship blossomed into a deep and fulfilling love, bringing joy and happiness into their lives. Their bond with BTS only grew stronger as they embraced Yn as not just a friend but a cherished member of their family.

However, amidst the newfound happiness, a sudden announcement rocked the delicate balance of their world.

One evening, Yn received a call from her aunt, Ji-eun, with news that left her speechless. "Yniee , I have something important to tell you. I'm getting married."

Yn's heart skipped a beat as she tried to process the information. "Married? Auntie , that's wonderful news!"

"Yes, but there's more," Ji-eun continued hesitantly. "The man I'm marrying is... he's the father of your ex-best friend, Soo-jin."

The world seemed to stop spinning for Yn as she absorbed the shock of her aunt's words. Soo-jin, the friend who had turned on her with hurtful rumors and betrayal, was now going to be her step-sister.

"I know this must be a lot to take in, buttercup ," Ji-eun said, her voice filled with concern.

Yn forced a smile, trying to mask the turmoil inside. "It's okay, Aunt . I'm happy for you."

After the call ended, Yn sat in silence, her mind racing with a whirlwind of emotions. The past, with its wounds and scars, resurfaced with a vengeance, threatening to overshadow the happiness she had found with Jimin and BTS.

Jimin noticed the change in  Yn's demeanor and approached her with a gentle touch. "Is everything okay, mochi ?"

Yn forced herself to meet his gaze, her eyes reflecting a mix of uncertainty and fear. "My aunt... she's getting married to Soo-jin's father."

Jimin's expression mirrored her concern. "That's... unexpected. How do you feel about it?"

"I don't know," Yn admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "It's like the past is colliding with the present, and I'm caught in the middle."

Jimin pulled her into a comforting embrace, his warmth a soothing balm to her troubled soul. "You don't have to face this alone, Yn. We're here for you, no matter what."

In the days that followed, Yn grappled with conflicting emotions—joy for her aunt's happiness, apprehension at the thought of living under the same roof as Soo-jin's family, and fear of revisiting painful memories from the past.

Despite her reservations,  Yn decided to support her aunt and attend the wedding. BTS stood by her side, offering unwavering support and reassurance as they navigated this unexpected turn of events together.

The wedding day arrived, a whirlwind of emotions and mixed feelings. Yn watched as her aunt exchanged vows with Soo-jin's father, their smiles genuine and their love palpable. She couldn't help but feel a pang of nostalgia for the family she had lost and the innocence of childhood friendships.

As Yn mingled with the guests, she caught glimpses of Soo-jin, who looked equally surprised and unsure about the situation. Their eyes met briefly, carrying a silent acknowledgment of the complexities of their past.

In the midst of the celebration, Yn found herself face to face with Soo-jin, their first encounter since the fallout of their friendship. There was a moment of awkward silence before Soo-jin spoke hesitantly.

"I never got the chance to apologize, Yn," Soo-jin began, her eyes filled with remorse. "I was wrong, and I'm sorry for the pain I caused you."

Yn studied Soo-jin's expression, sensing the sincerity in her words. "Thank you, Soo-jin. I appreciate that."

Their conversation was brief but significant, a small step towards healing old wounds and moving forward with a sense of closure.

As the wedding festivities drew to a close, Yn found herself reflecting on the unexpected twists and turns life had thrown her way. Despite the challenges and the ghosts of the past, she felt a glimmer of hope for the future—a future filled with love, forgiveness, and the strength of the bonds that had carried her through it all.
