"What does it say?" Baji asked as he peaked at the note.
"It said.. 'May the winds bless your travels.'" Takemichi read.
"She really likes to use winds as metaphors huh?" Draken said as he remembered how she likes to say how she could hear the winds and stuff like a crazy woman.
Who the hell could hear the whispers of the winds? The winds could speak?
Draken shook his head, stopping himself from thinking anymore or his brain will explode.
Afterwards, Takemichi took the letter. Everyone gave him a look which translates to 'read it'. Takemichi sighed. My throat will go dry reading these letters.. He thought before reading it out loud like how he did with Mikey's.
"'Dear me, how are ya? How's the wine's taste? I wonder if it's still taste good after a decade. Are you still in contact with your Toman buddies? I hope you are, since they're quite the treasure themselves as the oldie would said. Hahaha,' in capital letters—" Takemichi read exactly what's written.
"You really just read the laugh too?" Chifuyu sweatdropped with Baji laughing beside him.
"Well.. it's on the letter so.."
"Yeah continue." Draken said as he rest his cheek on his palm—he's sitting on a raised platform.
Takemichi scoffed at Chifuyu before continuing reading. "'Talking about the oldie, has he awaken? How is he doing now? I hope that oldie is doing fine and still remembers to bring his wallet with him.'"
"Who's this oldie now?" Pah asked, being in detention centre for two years made him left behind for so many things.
"She meant Zhongli..?" Smiley asked as Pah still doesn't understand.
"He is Venti's friend, pea brain." Baji explained but Pah still couldn't get it.
"So what does that have to do with us?—" Pah was cut off.
"Yeah.. I haven't seen him since that incident 12 years ago when he got hit in the head.." Draken said. "I went to visit him years ago but I found out that he was transferred to a new hospital. Unfortunately, the nurse said that the location of the new hospital is confidential.."
"We don't know where he is now..?"
"I guess it's none of our business anymore since Venti also doesn't talk about him with us at all." Draken sighed.
"Or maybe it's because we didn't ask?" Baji said as he tilted his head.
"Could be?" Pah said with Peh agreeing with him.
Not waiting for them to continue their discussion, Takemichi continued reading the letter. "'How is your friendship with Mikey? Is he doing well? Is Mitchy still getting beat up or has he started learning how to fight? If so, did he learn from you or was it from Chifuyu? I hope he learned from the best' in paranthese, '(me)'" Takemichi read, making Chifuyu scoffed.
"This bitch makes me wanna grab her hair and tear her scalp.." Chifuyu grumbled making Baji chuckled at his reaction.
"'I hope you have a good life leading on' with a drawn smiling emoji beside it." Takemichi said. "'If you ever think about him, just remember how he wants us to be happy and alive. He may be mad at us for what we're going to do but, you only live once right? Ehek'?" Takemichi read with an eyebrow raised.
You're really are doing something big again, aren't you? Takemichi thought.
"Huh? What was that supposed to mean?" Pah asked.
"Who is this 'him' she's referring to?" Draken asked, as if the others would know.
"Maybe it's one of her.. Yakuza friends?" Smiley said with his folded arms behind his head.
"It sounds like she's planning to do something for this person?" Mitsuya said. "And it sounds like something bad.."
"Like a revenge?" Chifuyu asked, earning a nod from Mitsuya.
"Does that mean.. she's working on it now?" Takemichi asked nervously.
"But she said that she already left the Yakuza. Doesn't that mean she cancelled on doing the revenge? Maybe she moved on?" Mitsuya asked.
"Can you guys stop discussing and let Takemichi continue reading the letter? All these complicated words makes my brain fried!" Pah frowned in annoyance.
As Pah said, Takemichi continues reading. "'I hope the plan works out well. I don't want'— huh?" Takemichi stopped reading as his face wrinkled, bringing the letter closer to his face. "What is this word?"
Draken walked closer to him and bend down to look at the letter. Takemichi pointed at the word, making Draken also wrinkled his face. "Huh?"
"Maybe it's in.. another language? German maybe? Considering she's from there." Smiley said, speculating.
"Hm maybe?"
"Alright, I'll continue reading.." Takemichi said. "'I don't want'—the word, 'to be disappointed.'"
"Oh? It must be a name." Mitsuya said. "It sounds like she's talking about that person."
"'As a word of encouragement, I'm gonna end this letter with brother's last song. Fly, fly away like a bird in the sky. See the world on my behalf'—" He read the lyrics in a monotone as he was cut off by Baji.
"Didn't she said that was a song? Can't you read it with some kind of rhythm?" Baji said, making Takemichi sighed.
"Okay.. 'Fly, fly away like a bird in the sky—'" Takemichi sang with 'twinkle, twinkle little star' rhythm.
"You just made it worst.." Chifuyu frowned.
"Just read it like you read a poem.." Draken said.
Takemichi sighed before reading it. "'Fly, fly away like a bird in the sky.'" He stopped a few seconds as he read the lyrics as if he's a bard. "'See the world on my behalf. To the heavens may you fly.'"

Fun fact: - the word they're talking about is 'снег' - yes, the letter is in japanese for plot purposes - the wine is actually dandelion wine that y/n stole from Diluc back when she's still at Germany (was it expired or do wines have long lifespan?)
