I already felt their gaze upon me when I came back after receiving the tray. I didn't want to make any scene in front of Somi, so i tried to stay quiet. But, I guess, no one told them when to quit.

I held Somi's hand, which was on the table, and asked, "Are you going to be fine while i go and chat with them to give us some privacy?" She nodded with a hint of a smile on her face. I smiled back and made my way back to the counter. But this time, not with a smile.

Narrators's POV

As Y/N approached Mingyu and Seokmin at the counter, she couldn't help but notice their furtive, nervous reactions. They seemed like startled high schoolers caught red-handed, their eyes darting back and forth in an attempt to evade her gaze.

She tapped on the bell to get their reaction, and Mingyu turned around with eyes a bit wide and mouth agape. "Yes, how may I help you?"

"Stop staring." Y/N commanded, her tone firm and unwavering.

Mingyu blinked rapidly, trying to avoid eye contact as a blush crept up his cheeks. Y/N couldn't help but feel a twinge of annoyance. She snapped her fingers in front of his face, a hint of amusement dancing in her eyes. "Would you like to apologize, or..." she trailed off, leaving the implication hanging in the air.

"I am really sorry if our action offended you... It's just that you are really beautiful." Mingyu said with a bit of a red blush on his face while looking down. Y/N looked at the other guy, named Lee Seok Min, who was also looking down with a small pout on his face.

"That still doesn't give you any right to make me and my friend feel creeped out. Please don't stare. I don't want my friend over there," she said while pointing at Somi, who waved at them with a grin on her face. "to feel even a little bit of uneasiness while she is present in my café. One of your responsibilities is to make your customers feel welcome, not uncomfortable."

Both Mingyu and Seokmin nodded in agreement, acknowledging Y/N's words. With a final smile, Y/N returned to her seat.

"Gosh, they are cute, did you scold them or something?" Somi said it with a playful pout on her face. Her expression made you chuckle.

"Ahhh...I just made some things clear. You should have clarified before not to scold them. I would have asked for their numbers." You said, with a teasing smile while slightly tilting your head.

And suddenly, you both erupted in laughter.

What you both didn't notice was the other two characters expressions.

While Y/N was walking away, Seokmin and Mingyu turned around to seem like they were busy. But Mingyu had a slight smirk, showing a satisfactory expression that could send shivers down their backs. His eyes, a shade darker, while his sweaty hair covers his eyes a bit. No one could even guess that a guy with such soft features could even manage to look this sinister. Which was not even his full form.

"How can a girl, who seems so guarded, be this easy to lie to?" Mingyu whispered to Seokmin, who went by his nickname DK or Dokyeom, while making another order for a group of girls who were visiting the café just to stare at the employees to get away from the pressure of their school. He soon came back after telling the girls that their order had been made.

"Don't underestimate her, Mingyu. She is not the heir of Jung Company for nothing." DK said while pretending to count the money at the cashier.

"Yeah, sure...heir who couldn't even figure out a lie." Mingyu said, while wiping the counter clean.
