Reese POV
As advice of my cousin and the squad I agreed to talk to Jaden privately, Jade and Maddie told me to dress up nicely then every one is actually busy for some reason, the boys are out then Leo is with CJ, the whole day was different they changed the schedule of activities for today, I was prepping up when Jade went to me
"are you ready?"
I smile at her and nod then Maddie also came with Irene
"he's waiting for you at the pool"
, I nodded and proceed to go there , as I walk out I saw the pool was fully set up, I saw Jaden facing his back on me right beside a table, oh no don't tell me they set me up I sight heavily and feeling nervous at the same time, I went close to him
"I thought we will just talk why there's a table here?"
he face me and offered me a sit
" I don't even have an idea about it the boys told me to go here, but , lets just take this I know they put a lot on effort on it specially the food"
he aims his eyes on the food I follow where he is looking and I saw a steak and some other dish on the table, I don't have time to wonder about it so I just go with the flow
" so Jaden.."
I was about to start our conversation when he interrupts me
" Reese, can I talk first?"
I nod on her request as I prepare my self not to cry because I'm so nervous
" okay, thanks, uhmm how can I apologize to you Reese, I mean your fed up with me saying sorry to you,d..d.. don't get me wrong on it, but I'm trying, I'm not complaining if this is the price I need to pay for taking you for granted , I will patiently wait until you will finally forgive me, but Reese, I just got hurt when you shout at me earlier , you see we have a smart son, I can't let him see you crying because of me, I felt being stab whenever I see him crying, I'm still earning his trust so please if, you cant forgive me now, let me be a father to CJ let me be a father to stand by him, let me do my part to him, I'm begging you don't take him away from me, I will die if that happens "
I saw his tears rolling down his face as he began to cry I wipe my tears as well and began to talk
" I'm sorry, I know that you love CJ, I'm sorry for being so hard on you. Jaden, I will never do that to you or to CJ I would never hurt my son's feelings , I saw how happy he is seeing you and spending time with you , I'm not that bad, I know your trying ,I see that everyday"
I lower down my head as I was explaining to him I don't have the guts to look at him because I'm sure I will break down, then its his time for him to talk again
" hey look at me"
i lift up my head as his request and look at him
" I know it's a bad timing but remember I asked you earlier..."
widen my eyes,my heart can't stop beating what will I say to him?, I was trying to keep my self compose on the next thing that he will ask to me
" Reese? please ..please if you can't forgive me, please I'm begging you let do what I need to provide my son please..."
I did not let him finish and I didn't even listen to what he is saying I just needed to tell him what I really want to say , Lee was right I need to be happy too
" Jaden I love you "
I saw how he was shock on what I say , a tear was building on his eyes and about to drop he stood up and held my hand
