Today was scorching hot, I swear I felt like I could build my own house in the bathroom and never leave the cool confines of the shower. I even wished for the rain gods to come down and give us a much-needed downpour. Meanwhile, my boyfriend keeps pestering me about when I'll visit him. Sometimes I feel like I could roast him on a hot tawa and make chicken soup out of him! I've told him countless times it's not possible right now, but he's persistent, giving me the death stare like it's my final exam assignment. Talk about mixed and complex feelings!
He's already planning something for a summer trip, but honestly, I'm not sure if I'll be able to go. First, there's my scary mom who will break my legs if I even attempt to step out. On the bright side, I'm eagerly waiting for my job to start again. Today is Rang Panchami festival here, a celebration of colors. Ahh, I love indulging in sweets during these festivals!
Oh, and I got some solid advice from my best friend today. I'll make sure to apply it correctly.
