I reached home, and my eyes immediately fell upon the beautifully decorated house. Despite its small size, it looked absolutely stunning. "Hey, why are you standing outside? Come in, my dear," my maa called out, welcoming me with a warm hug.

"I can't believe that my second daughter is getting married," she said, her voice filled with a mix of emotions.

"But this time, it's different. This time, my daughter is marrying someone of my choice, unlike her elder sister."

"Maa, please don't say that," I pleaded, trying to express my thoughts.

"Dii wanted to marry someone who truly loves her, and I genuinely believe that we couldn't have found a better match for her than jiju."

My mother kissed my forehead, understanding the depth of my words. "You know, the reason why Prathna loves you so much is because you truly understand her," she said, her eyes filled with pride. And so, we continued our heartfelt conversation, cherishing the bond that held our family together.

As we sat down, surrounded by the beauty of our home, memories flooded my mind. I recalled the countless moments of laughter, tears, and love that were shared within these walls. Our small house may not be grand or extravagant, but it holds a wealth of warmth and affection that money can't buy.

The decorations, carefully arranged by my mother, were a testament to her love and dedication. Each piece held a story, a memory, and a symbol of our unity as a family. It was a reminder that happiness doesn't depend on material possessions but rather on the love and support we have for one another.

As the evening sun gently bathed our home in a golden glow, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the simple yet profound beauty of our lives. In a world that often values extravagance and opulence, we found solace in the genuine connections we shared.

I looked at my mother, her eyes filled with pride and love. In that moment, I realized that it wasn't the size or grandeur of our house that made it beautiful, but the love and togetherness that resided within its walls. As we continued our conversation, I couldn't help but feel blessed to call this place my home.
