Adam had nothing to do, he sat and stared at his sword not knowing what to do. He decided to hide the sword. If anyone found out he could have been in so much trouble. The only person Adam knew that knew he had the sword was Derik. He looked for places to hide it and then decided to put it under his bed and put some other things under his bed so it wouldn't be as visible. He planned on using it when he saw Derik again or when he needed it. He noticed his cat gagging from the smoke so he opened the windows. He didn't know how a smoke sword could be so special. The sword hid a method not all swords had. The sword would not only make smoke but also have poisoned gas release when the one who held the sword felt threatened. Luckily Adam didn't feel too threatened when he held the sword, so only smoke came out. Whoever held it could be affected if the situation was serious, so they would need to wear a gas mask when that happened. Adam didn't know this so he might get affected if things get too serious. Luckily when Adam saw the cat gagging he decided to wear a mask the next time he held it. In the meantime Derik got back with the files and later was told to go to group 7 with Noah. Mike decided to watch Derik leave and hope for a better chance with being back with his brother again, that is all he ever wanted. Derik and Noah entered the car with a driver. They both stayed quiet in the car until Noah spoke,

"How did it go?" He asked. Derik ignored him and gazed out the window. Noah sighed, "Dork, I am talking to you." He said. Derik recognized that nickname,

"What did you call me?" He said.

"Derik, your name?" Noah said, narrowing his eyes.

"Ah." Derik became quiet again. He had many things on his mind but still couldn't stop thinking about Adam's sword. He knew he had to act fast but didn't have the time to.

"Boss, stop ignoring me." Noah came closer. Derik pushed him,

"Why do you always have to act like that, do you not know personal space?"

"Do you not know how to respond?"

"It was fine, there." Derik rolled his eyes.

"This guy is honestly so annoying, out of all people why does he need to be my bodyguard? I would rather be stuck in a room filled with snakes than him." He thought. Noah lacked attention as a child so when he didn't get any he would find something to make someone give him it, even if it meant doing something insane. Noah glanced and Derik,

"Hey, if you were to hide something really important or rare, where would you hide it?" Derik stood back for a second, feeling uneasy at first, until he remembered Noah wouldn't be quiet if he didn't answer him,

"Hmmm, depends on what it is, what are you trying to hide?" Derik said.

"No, it is just a question. I like learning about people's thoughts so I was hoping you can tell me yours." Noah smiled. Derik glanced at him, he knew he couldn't trust him but he looked like a very innocent and needy person. Not the type to do something wrong or illegal. Then he had a second thought, he couldn't trust Noah at all,

"Well, I don't know, I never had something to hide."

"If you did though?"

"Why should I tell you? If you are asking me what I am hiding, it's nothing." Derik lied. Noah glared at him, then sighed,

"It just hurts how you don't trust your own bodyguard, I am human, no?" Derik knew Noah was gaslighting him,

"Too bad, sometimes you just need to deal with it."

"Wow, so you don't trust me, ouch, my heart." Noah whined. Derik snickered,

"It hurts? Didn't you say you know how to treat wounds, go ahead and heal it." Finally they arrived and the driver parked the car. Noah glared at Derik as he walked out. The investigation area was small and far from the main PCLA building, so it took them a while to get there. Derik and Noah walked in. The rooms were all soundproof and had locks on them.
