"There are so many ways a family can unravel. All it takes is a tiny slash of selfishness, a rip of greed, a puncture of bad luck. And yet, woven tightly, family can be the strongest bond imaginable."
― Jodi Picoult

"What time was he taken?" Derek asked.

"Between midnight and 6 a.m.," Emily answered

"Same m.o.as the other two?"

Rossi looked down at the file in his hand and read from it "All abducted from their beds in the middle of the night. The first two were found strangled with blunt force head traumas, Dumped in the Wharton state forest."

"The Cherry Hill police department is about to hold a press conference."

"Dan Murphy." The father introduced himself.

"I'm agent Emily Prentiss." She shook the man's hand.

"Agent Soren Volk." Soren introduced himself giving a nod as a greeting.

"May we ask you some questions?" Emily asked.

Dan glanced back at his wife before nodding "I think so. Come in."

"Thank you all for speaking with me," Emily said as the parents sat Infront of them. "I cannot stress enough how much time is of the essence here. Abductions from the home are rare, and that allows us to narrow down the suspect pool even more."

"What makes them unusual?"

"Abductions are usually about timing and opportunity." Soren told the couple "Like when a child walks home alone or gets separated at a shopping center, that kind of situation."

"This is a sophisticated high-risk crime." Emily spoke "Whoever did this has good social skills. They're highly functioning, and they have a steady job. He wouldn't look out of place to you, And you wouldn't be alarmed if your children were talking to him. So he may be wearing a uniform, like a deliveryman or a mail carrier." she explained "Have you noticed anyone hanging around the neighborhood, talking with children?"

"Nothing comes to mind," Dan told her.

"No." Sarah said, "Oh--I don't know."

"Mrs. Murphy?" Emily spoke, "Do you want to take a break?" She asked.

"I think I need to-- need to lie down. - Yeah." She told them "Sorry."

"No, it's ok. Are you able to continue?"

"Sure." Dan agreed.

"Danny, you and Kyle, you always walk to and from the bus stop together, right?"

"Yeah."

"Any strangers try to talk to you or your brother recently?" Soren asked the boy.

"The bus driver asks us questions sometimes. I don't know." Danny replied.

"What time of day do the boys usually play outside?" Emily asked.

"Well, they both have practice after school." Dan explained, "But lately, Kyle's been into video games, and Danny loves building model airplanes."

"Ok. That actually tells us a lot." Emily nodded "Uh, I am going to need you to make a list of everyone who's been in or around your home in the past 6 months. Whoever took Kyle has probably been in this house before." She explained "He watched the family routine. He knew exactly where everyone slept. And he got Kyle out without anyone seeing or hearing anything."

"Daddy..." Danny spoke up softly.

"Yeah?" Dan looked down at his son.

"Can I go play now?"

"You can go to the family room. I'll be there soon." Dan said before Danny left the room.

"He doesn't really understand what's going on."

"That's probably for the best." Emily remarked, "Mr. Murphy, we are going to do everything we can to find Kyle." She assured.

"Thank you."

"We've narrowed the list to 5 men," Hotch informed them.

"Already?"

"Registered sex offender Hugh Rollins, 43, lived in Camden county his whole life, In and out of foster care since he was a toddler, and acquired quite the nice rap sheet," Spencer said.

"What's his connection to the victims?" Derek questioned.

"2 years ago he got a steady job installing TVs," JJ told him.

"Have any of the families purchased a new TV?" Emily asked looking down at her.

"The first two did." She answered "Garcia found something else. Rollins had no cell or bank activity on the days the boys were abducted."

"We haven't been able to connect Rollins to Kyle yet," Hotch added.

"So, what, we're gonna wait for more evidence?" Derek remarked.

"No, there isn't time."Hotch answered "We have sufficient probable cause."

"Let's go pick him up." Rossi said
