Then Dad came back, holding a bottle of canned beers in his hand, and gave it to Billy.

" just keepin' it real son " He adds.

" come on old guys, I'll turn the TV on for you "

The next day I already have my outfit on. I a simple sleeveless navy blue shirt and white shorts, I paired it with my sandals since today's weather was warmer than yesterday

I was waiting for Carlisle to pick me up since he messaged me about an hour ago.

While I was waiting, I sat on my couch and decided to open the old book I bought from the bookstore in Port Angeles

I took a deep breath and opened the pages. Something about this book was not normal, or not written today.

The papers were already old and yellow, so I had to carefully hold them.

I calmly took deep breaths and placed the book on my lap, opening both palms and focusing on what I felt within me. It took me a minute of focus before watching the red glowing mist form into my hand

I didn't let my surprise bother me as I looked at it intensely, watching as the book slowly floated in the air beneath me.

I forgot everything that surrounded me.

It was my first time encountering my powers this is much time. That slowly turned the pages for me.

Deep breaths escaped from my lips as my hands continued to hold the magic.

Then I saw a glimpse of my reflection in the mirror, seeing my eyes glowing red like my powers. Same eyes as what hunted me every day

I looked back at the book beneath me and mumbled the words written on the pages.

My mind cannot think about anything else, it like clouded, and something is blocking me from getting back to myself. The magic was addicting, it was pulling me to discover more and more

My eyes roam around my bedroom, I extend my hand as I stare at the picture frame from my bedside table. It was far away from where I was, but the longer I focused on myself.

The magic surrounded it, causing the picture frame to float in the air as well.

Telekinesis

" Stella, Stella?! "

Then everything dropped when I heard Dad's voice shouting my name downstairs. The book fell to my ground and I felt my surroundings come back.

I swallowed the thick lump in my throat and shut the book, I placed it back on the shelf grabbed my bag, and left my room without looking back.

" bye Dad," I said

and placed a peck on his cheek as I opened the front four and saw Carlisle waiting for me outside

I shut the door behind me as a smile spread into my face when I saw the bouquet of red roses he had in his hand

" you look amazing, " Carlisle said as I walked towards him

stopping in front of him as he gave me the lowest and placed a kiss on my temples, making my cheeks turn red. As my heart thumps with happiness

" you bought this for me? " I asked and looked up

meeting his comforting gaze and smile as he didn't cad his eyes off from me.

Carlisle cupped my cheeks with his one hand and nods

" of course, you deserve the best " He replies.

I was happy that Carlisle has no shift today at the hospital, it means I could send more time with him. I smiled and tiptoed my foot from the ground

Softly placing my lips to his as Carlisle kissed me back. He was enough to bring myself back into the reality
