                               𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐃 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐂𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐖𝐎𝐊𝐄𝐍 𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐘𝐀 making her head pop up, her eyes squinting due to the harsh sunlight beaming in them.

she looked around and used her arms to lift herself up and turn to the side to position herself to get out of bed, then she proceeded to rub the sleep out of her eyes, push the covers off her, and lean up.

The cold feeling of the floor hit her bare feet as she walked to the other side of the room where Tanesha was sleeping on the couch-bed and she shook her.

"sista! sista wake up!" Tanesha's eyes popped open and she blinked seeing Taniya in her face.

The loud knocks still kept going.

"Somebody is at the do' knocking hard as fuck." She points.

"you see? listen." Taniya utters, as they stopped moving to hear the knocks. They grew louder and louder.

Tanesha quickly got up in panic mode, making sure it was knocking she heard and it indeed was.

"who is that?" Tanesha grumbled as she got up and they walked out of the room they were in and walked to the hotel door.

"WE COMING!" Taniya shouts.

They peeped out the whole seeing two police officers.

"Twelve!?" they looked at each other, both of them wore expressions of bewilderment and uncertainty, with their faces showing a mixture of confusion and perplexity.

Taniya smacked her lips and swung it open revealing two figures standing before her and Tanesha.

"Taniya and Tanesha Green?" one of the cops questioned.

"Mhm, That's us." they both speak in unison.

"Good morning, I'm Detective Williamson and this is my partner, Detective Crane," he said as he pulled out his wallet to show his badge. "Firstly, congratulations on winning Miss America. However, shortly after the event ended, a crisis occurred. Do you have a minute?"

"We don't know the exact time, but all we know is they waited precisely until the event ended to do this." Detective Williamson spoke as he ducked under the yellow tape.
