In evening
Hazel woke up. Akshit got her fresh then they sat for the movie.
Akshit: Hazel baby ko main ek secret batau?
Hazel turns towards him excitedly.
Akshit: But ye secret hai to kisi ko nahi batana. Bua ko bhi nahi.
Hazel (giggle): Yeshhh!
Akshit: To ek help karegi meri Hazel baby?
Hazel nodded, curiously.
Akshit: Sidoo na bua ko call karega shaam ko. Tab Sidoo se sirf Hazel baby hi baat karegi, okay?
Hazel (pout): No bua?
Akshit: Sidoo ko na Hazel baby ki bahut yaad aa rahi hai. Bahut means bahut to Zalak di ne bola Sidoo se Hazel baat karegi na bahut sara to Sidoo happy ho jayega na.
Hazel: Sidoo ro raha?
Akshit nodded. Hazel pouts.
Akshit: But ye na secret hai. Aese Sidoo ko mat batana maine aapko sab bataya hai.
Hazel (frown): Kyun?
Akshit: Umm... Haa Sidoo surprise dega Hazel baby ko.
Hazel (smiling widely): Chocolates?
Akshit: Haa vahi... Mat batana Sidoo ko aapko pata hai. Usko surprise dena hai. Ye humara secret hai.
Hazel (nodding): Haa haa... No bua, no Sidoo...
She giggles. Akshit pecked her cheeks and they continued watching their movie.
Few days later
In these few days, Hazel followed Akshit's words and didn't let Sid and Avni talk. Sid was trying his best but didn't get a chance.
As per the discussion, Zalak informed Sid that she spoke with Avni about the misunderstanding and everything is sorted now. Sid finally relaxed. After that conversation with Zalak, he tried to talk with Avni but as usual Hazel used to talk with him, not letting him talk with Avni. Most of the time, Zalak used to call him after office hours to keep him busy, so he didn't get a chance to talk with Avni.
With Avni. All these days, she is busy with projects or thinking about Sid and his date. She was waiting for him to initiate and talk with her but looking at Hazel being stubborn, she stayed quiet. Her mind was roaming around Sid a lot. Zalak used to keep him busy on call most of the time. Sid and Hazel's call with Sid started being small. Avni felt hurt thinking Sid was spending time with his "Date". Thinking about it more and more. She started being hurt and irritated.
After a few days
It was afternoon time. Akshit, Avni and Hazel had lunch together in Avni's cabin. Avni was silent all these days but she was busy most of the time in project. Akshit couldn't speak with her. But now, after lunch, Avni made Hazel sleep. He sat with Avni to speak with her.
Akshit: Kya hua Avni itni chup kyun ho?
Avni: No... I am good.
Akshit: Avni... We are best friends, right? You can share it with me.
Avni: Umm... Don't worry.
Akshit: Avnnnnniiiii.......
Avni (irritated): Kya hai Akshit bola na I am good.
Akshit: You aren't Avni... Itne dino se ek to chup chup ho. Baat tak nahi karti proper. Lunch ke time aese Hazel par bhi chilayi. Bachi hai nahi pasand usko vo vegetable that's fine. Kaise gussa kar rahi thi tum us par.
Avni looks down, feeling guilty.
Akshit (held her hand): Ab bolo sach kya baat hai?
She stared at him for a few seconds, tears brimmed in her eyes.
Avni (taking her hand back): Kuch nahi... Umm... Let's start working. break over ho gayi.
Akshit: Okay let it be. Jab man kare tab bata dena. But mere pass ek news hai for you.
Avni didn't reply.
Akshit: Kal shaam Sid vapas aa raha hai.
Avni (blankly, looking at the computer): Okay.
Akshit smirked internally.
Akshit: What okay? Humara friend kal vapas aa raha hai. Pura project jo doobne wala tha vo usne smartly handle kar set up kiya. Sirf, okay?
Avni (angrily): Fine... That's good.
Akshit: Avni??? Tum apne dost ke liye khush nahi ho? He is coming back after achieving very great success.
Avni (rolling her eyes): Akshit main khush hoon, okay? Tumhe kya nach kar dikhau? Aur aayega bhi to kya? Kaun sa usko humare liye time hoga. Vibha aunty ne ladki pasand ki hai. Ab vo hoga uske sath busy.
Akshit did a happy dance in mind, looking at Avni's expressions.
Akshit: Haa to acha hai na. Humare dost ki shaadi hogi, he will have someone as his life partner, beside him.
She glared at him.
Akshit (raising his eyebrow): What? Tumhare best friend ki life ka important phase start hone wala Avni. He will find his love life.
Avni (gritting her teeth): Haa to? Main kya karu? Ladki uske mom ne pasand ki, date par vo gaya ladki ke sath. Uski life, usko jo chaye kare. Why you are pointing me out? Don't drag me in all this... Uski life, date uski, love life uski. Sab uska hai. Vo date par jaye, engagement kare, propose kare, shaadi kare, romance kare, fights kare, honeymoon par jaye, bache paida kare, bacho ko school me padhaye, college me padhaye. Jo uska man kare karne ho. Mujhe kya? Ab tum please jaa kar apna kaam karo.
Akshit: Why you are jealous Avni?
Avni (glaring at him): Main kyun jealous hougi? Vo bhi us Sid se?
She said angrily
