Background

Deep within the confines of a top-secret laboratory, scientists are conducting groundbreaking research on genetic modification of plants. Their goal: to create a new strain of super crops capable of withstanding harsh environmental conditions and producing higher yields to combat global hunger. However, their experiments take a sinister turn when an accidental contamination occurs.

Unbeknownst to the researchers, a mutated strain of a highly infectious virus infiltrates the lab's containment systems, merging with the genetic material of the experimental plants. At first, the results seem promising as the plants exhibit unprecedented growth and resilience. But beneath their lush green exteriors, a terrifying transformation is taking place.

As the modified plants spread beyond the confines of the lab, they release airborne spores carrying the viral contagion. Anyone exposed to these spores becomes a host for the insidious infection, their bodies gradually succumbing to the plant-based virus. Meet the characters:

Luke

Luke is the oldest of the siblings, holding the ability to boss his younger brothers and sister around foolishly, but when things become serious, he will do almost anything to protect his family.

Steele

Steele likes to do sports, as well as hanging around his friends or siblings as much as he can. He experiences hardships trying to cope sometimes with others to make it out safely in the apocalypse, but realizes he was meant to be put in terrifying times, such as the outbreak of a virus killing most of the population on Earth.

Lexi

Lexi is easily scared, always being pranked and joked around by both her twin brother, Steele and her older brother Luke, but later, when the apocalypse struck she learns that within herself she really makes a good caretaker for her younger brother, Jackson after years of babysitting little children.

Eve

An young Italian girl teaming up with Steele through the apocalypse, Eve and him grow close together, soon realizing they are in love, but love is the last resort when trying to survive this new world. The two attempt to escape the survivors that lost their sanity due to the harsh reality of Earth.
