Chapter 35

~ 3rd Person POV ~

Jungkook was sitting down on his bed, looking at his hands as it's been a whole week since Taehyung called their relationship off. Since then, Jungkook could think or even eat anything. He didn't know how much this would be affecting him. He thought he was doing something right. He thought that Taehyung would like him more since he was so-called being more dominant...was it wrong?

" What have I done...what have I did..."Jungkook mumbled, cursing himself out as he realized that he might have fucked up his relationship with Taehyung. Taehyung was the best thing that has ever happened to the younger male

Jungkook heard a knock on his door, he was praying and hoping that it was Taehyung

He braced himself because open the door, hoping that it was Taehyung but was disappointed when he was that it was only Yoongi. Yoongi was surprised when he saw his best friend wasn't happy to see him

" Ouch...what's wrong with you?" Yoongi asked as he shut the door. He turned to see his long-term best friend, having tears were running down his face. He immediately went into father mode and walked over to his best friend and wrapped his arms around him, hugging him tightly

" Kook? What's wrong? Why are you crying?" Yoongi asked as he wiped the tears from his best friend's face, wanting to know why his best friend was all of a sudden in tears

" T-Taehyung broke u-u-up with me," Jungkook said as he covered his face, crying into his hands. Replaying the moment Taehyung called off their relationship. All of this was his fault even though he thought that he was doing something right for the both of them

" WHAT?" Yoongi yelled, not understanding what he was saying. There was no way in hell that Taehyung and Jungkook broke up. They were just fine not even three days ago and now they have broken up?

" You're kidding me, right? We all hung out not too long ago and you're telling me you both broke up?" Yoongi asked, placing his hand on his best friend's shoulders. Jungkook sniffed and looked up at him and nodded

" W-we broke up last week...t-that's why I haven't been t-to c-class...I-I can't f-face him....I-it hurts so m-much when I see him in the hallway" Jungkook mumbled, his heartbreaking more and more. The thought of not having Taehyung anymore was heartbreaking

" What happened?"

" I-I overheard his conversation with j-jimin and he told him that he wanted me to b-be more dominant...I-I started to be that way and t-taehyung didn't like it...I-it just made me so mad that Taehyung wanted m-me to act that way when I thought he liked me for me...I-I thought I was doing something right but I-I fucked up and I don't know what t-to do and I can't think anymore," Jungkook said as he looked at the picture that Jungkook and he took of him and Taehyung

" Kook, that doesn't sound like Taehyung...are you sure that is what you think you heard?"Yoongi asked him, yoongi didn't know Taehyung, as well as Jimin and Jungkook did but, he didn't think the blond-haired boy would tell Jimin that Jungkook needed to be more dominant

Jimin would never talk about someone behind their back. Jimin was his boyfriend for a few months and he knows in his heart that his boyfriend wasn't talking about him

" Well...did you ask him?" Yoongi asked quietly

"no...I listened and then I walked away...I didn't what to hear the rest of it...it had already hurt my feelings" Jungkook mumbled as he looked down at his hands. He heartbreaking more and more as he realized how much of an asshole he was to his boyfriend who didn't do anything wrong but love and take care of him like a puppy

" Maybe it was just a misunderstanding...I don't think Taehyung would say something like that. That boy is head over heels for him. He talks about you all the time and he loves his shy and sweet you are. Don't you know the reason why he asked you out was that he saw that you were different from the other boys? Why would you act like the boys he turned down just to get to you for?" Yoongi asked and Jungkook felt like a complete idiot

Jungkook has never acted this way before so, he was acting more dominant...isn't that what Taehyung wanted 

" But...Taehyung said he wanted someone dom-"

" If you are right, and he did say dominant. He said dominant, not acting like an asshole. I told you that maybe you need to speak to him instead of acting like this...you need to talk to him or else you're going to lose the boy that has treated you so well. You never know, maybe it was just some type of misunderstanding. You need to go talk to him or else you're going to lose him forever " Yoongi said with all honesty because he didn't want to lie to his best friend. He wanted to be honest with him

" Y-you're right....I-I will talk to him...I-I just don't want to change...I-I like the way I am," Jungkook said with all honesty. He didn't like being mean or rude to his boyfriend, especially since Taehyung was an Angel

Alcohol and cigarettes are nasty to him but...he thought Taehyung would like him if he was some sort of bad boy

" See, never change yourself. Taehyung loved your sweetness and your shyness, it's what makes you different from other boys, which makes Taehyung love you. I don't think this might ever happen but if Taehyung does want you to change, then he simply didn't the person for you okay?"Yoongi asked his best friend, placing his hand on his knee for some extra support and showing that he cared

" I-I won't...thank you Yoongi," Jungkook said as he hugged his best friend. It's was crazy, Jungkook has Yoongi to give him good advice and Taehyung had Jimin

" No probably Bubba, I've got to get going but, make sure to talk to him. You two are made for each other, I've got to run but, make sure to talk to him" Yoongi said as he ruffled Jungkook's hair, kissed his forehead, and walked out of the room. Leaving Jungkook there to figure out how he was going to apologize to his boyfriend, well.... ex-boyfriend
