Mr. William, do you seriously want to marry me?

Yes, Miss Amelia, I am serious about marrying you.

"But I don't deserve someone like you," Amelia wishpered.

I know it will be hard for you to believe my words because you don't know much about me yet, but last night, when I saw you at the party, I knew you were made for me.

Mr. William I am nothing special, so why me?

"It has to be only you, Miss Amelia." William said, a sinister smile playing on his lips.

"Amelia, you shine like the brightest sun. I find myself unable to ignore the radiance that emanates from you. Your gentleness is a melody that resonates in my soul, and your eyes hold a universe that I yearn to explore."

As William expressed his feelings for Amelia, her eyes welled with tears. Because she felt a surge of warmth that she had been missing since her mother's death. When Amelia realised she was struggling to hide the overwhelming emotions that tugged at her heart for years, she looked down immediately because she didn't want to show her vulnerable side to William.

Miss Amelia You don't have to feel burdened; we will talk about our marriage when you are ready.

"Today is your first day here, so how about I show you around the mansion?"

"Sure, I would love to see your mansion."

Miss Amelia, from now on, "it's our mansion."

As William led Amelia through the ornate corridors of his mansion, the opulence of the surroundings was undeniable. Elaborate chandeliers hung from the ceiling, casting a warm glow on the intricate tapestries lining the walls.

They next visited the library, which was adorned with wooden bookshelf containing priceless works of literature from ancient times. Sunlight streamed through stained glass windows, casting a warm hue on the books.

However, as they entered a dimly lit room painted entirely in shades of black a subtle unease settled in the air.

William's voice, smooth and commanding, broke the unease. "Welcome to my room, Miss Amelia."

Tall windows were enclosed with velvet drapes to keep out the moonlight, and a king-size bed occupied much of the room's center.The main attraction was a black wardrobe designed with elaborate patterns.

In one corner, a vintage record player emitted a haunting melody, weaving through the room. The walls were covered in an array of mysterious paintings, each of which told a tale of mystery and evil.

As they stood together, enveloped in the dark elegance of the room, Amelia couldn't help but feel a mixture of fascination and apprehension.

"Mr. William, I just wondered why I haven't seen any servants except your butler." Amelia inquired as they strolled through the beautiful gardens.

William furrowed his brow, perplexed. "Now that you mention it, I know it is quite unusual to have no servants for someone of my stature, but I believe in self-sufficiency and value my privacy."

Amelia raised an eyebrow. "But, Mr. William, don't you find it overwhelming to manage everything on your own?"

William chuckled maliciously. "Surprisingly, no. I find joy in maintaining my space independently. It allows me to connect with my surroundings on a more personal level."

Amelia pondered for a moment. "I suppose that makes sense in a way. You are really a down-to-earth person."

William felt a sense of satisfaction from Amelia's praise.

The next day, Amelia awoke to the sight of a beautiful flower bouquet adorning her room. Startled, she inquired of the butler, "Good morning. Who left this flower bouquet for me?"

The butler, with a courteous nod, replied, "Madam, Master William delivered them early this morning. I know it's Mr. William because I can see a note that reads, 'For the enchanting Amelia.'"

Intrigued, Amelia's curiosity deepened. "Did he say anything else?

Regrettably, the butler shook his head. "No, Madam. He simply requested that you enjoy the flowers and the day ahead."

Amelia, with a sense of mystery enveloping her, couldn't help but smile.

"Well, it seems I really have to enjoy the day ahead. Please convey my gratitude to Mr. William."

As the butler exited, Amelia pondered the gesture, wondering how thoughtfully William planned the surprise to make her feel happy.

                                    ~~~
Amelia anxiously searched the mansion for her bag, a hint of worry etched on her face. The butler, noticing her distress, approached with a reassuring demeanor.
Butler: "Madam, is there something amiss? You seem troubled."
Amelia: "I can't find my bag; I put all my things there, even my clothes."
Butler: "Fear not, Madam. Master William has anticipated such situations. He has bought you an exquisite collection of dresses. Allow me to show you the wardrobe."
The butler guided Amelia to a room adorned with elegant dresses of various styles and colors.
Amelia: "Oh, these are beautiful, but they look really expensive; I can't afford to wear them."
Butler: "I understand your emotions, Madam. However, Master William insisted you have the finest things. Perhaps if you wear these dresses, it will bring a smile to his face."
Amelia looked through the dresses with a mix of gratitude and longing in her eyes.
Amelia: "These dresses are stunning. I don't want to disappoint Mr. William, so I will wear them. Please let Mr. William know I really appreciate his thoughtfulness." But, Mr. Butler, can you please help me look for my bag? I am not looking for the dresses; it had something to do with my mother's memories."
Butler: Don't worry. I empathize with your sentiments, madam. I'll spare no effort in finding your bag."
