Chapter 2: The end of Death (Finale)

Those stupid Demons think they can wage war HA they better know who their dealing with. I flew all the way back to the castle and the guards were surprised to see me "Your back? Why? HOW?" the guard said in surprise. "Why wouldn't i?" i asked "Because they wanted to make you one of them and if you didn't they would have waged war and killed a LOT of innocent lives" the guard explained "Oh shoot um yea i kinda did that didn't i" i said sheepishly. In the throne room the king and queen were acting normally till me and the guards came in to tell the news of a war "What? You declined their offer do you know what this means?" the king said concerned "War will happen and everyone will die?" i said trying not to screw up any more. "Yes and there is nothing we can do to stop it" the king finished "Don't worry me and my friends shall fight along side your army and take care of this problem" I assured. "Fool! There are thousands of demons and each one are at least as strong as you in your demon form how can mere foot soldiers deal with them" the king asked, "And since you started this YOU shall deal with it alone we're not letting any innocent people die from your actions." "Right i'll get to work where are the barracks?" i asked.

"So your this Death guy who started this war we have to fight in now?" the captain asked "Yes sadly" i said "Well you caused quite the problem haven't ye well go meet your mates in the bunker we're preparing soon so you better hurry" the captain directed. I opened the door to the barracks and everyone stared at me for a few seconds before everyone realized who i was... "Hey it's Death he started this war why the hell are you here" one of the soldiers said as he walked towards me "Look it was a simple mistake" i said trying to calm the oncoming soldier "The only mistake was you being born now all of us have to risk our lives fixing YOUR  mistake" the soldier said angrily. "That's why we joined the army to protect others just quell the fighting and-" another soldier tried to calm his buddy down but it didn't work soon everyone seemed to be in a heated argument because of me. "Hey HEY stop" i shouted trying to stop the stupid skirmish but it didn't work soon enough i stopped me shouting and did the only thing that would get their attention stabbing my dark crystal sword into the ground in which i did. The ground shook from the pure power and weight of my weapon and i had all eyes and ears. "Look it was my mistake YES, but i'm here to fix it and if all of you are too scared to risk your lives to protect others then you can forget being a soldier and live with the other citizens" i said starting up my speech. "Me and my friends risked our lives saving others COUNTLESS times. Are you saying you can't do the same? You don't have the strength of me nor do you have the speed of Seclinette but you have the hearts of heroes and you don't need all these fancy abilities to do something good. You may lose your lives but you can't lose your hearts you joined the army for a reason and this is it so are you going to help me beat these demons and STOP them from killing the innocent?" Everyone was silent and they realized they were in this together "Your right we're heroes we don't need no super powers to be one so let's get to work people" one of the soldiers spoke up for the others. The other soldiers scrambled to get ready and another shook my hand thanking me for getting him back to his senses "It's good to have you on the team" he said "I'm proud to be working with you" i said back.

Soon the army was gathered outside the citiy wall waiting for the demons to start their charge. "So this is the last time we have before we go to war huh?" i said waiting for the first attack to appear "Yea any last words" a soldier in armour said to me "It's not my time" i said smiling "Nor is it mine" the soldier said back and the war broke out. Hundreds of dragons charged over the hill and ran into the shallow water outside of the city. I ran ahead of the army ready to take out the bastards that decided to screw around with MY world i materialized my crystal sword ready to kill them in which i did and i LOVED it. I chopped the first few dragons into pieces then blasted another but they just kept coming and soon enough i was slaughtering many dragons heartlessly but they deserved it. I transformed into my Arch Demon form and jumped back 50 metres to start my new attack. I got ready and slashed my sword onto the ground and threw my body over the sword and i rapidly kept slashing the ground with my sword creating an unstoppable rolling disc with my blade. I heard war cries as the both armies seemed to charge stronger than ever and i was the hero of mine. Whoever was in my way was tasting dark red metal because i cut them in half within seconds as the disc cut through enemy lines giving us the advantage but it still wasn't enough as the enemy was clearly stronger than us. Soon enough my army started to get slaughtered by the enemy and sadly i couldn't save them all, i watched as each demon stroke down each brave soldier, man or women no one was spared... Soon enough they overwhelmed me since i was bound to get tired and i got knocked back a few hundred metres and i landed in the shallow water outside the city. I got up and saw a familiar body lying face first in the water..., it was one of the soldiers from my bunker and i ran towards him hoping he would be alright. "Are you alright?" i said propping him out of the water and onto dry land "*cough* *cough* it was an honour to fight beside you *cough* the soldier said weakly "i said it wasn't my time but *cough* i guess i was wrong...." "No don't die i don't know if i can revive you no damn it" i said sadly. I got up angry at the lost of a new found friend and I used my magic to teleport my remaining army and told all of them to stay back. "Your going to fight them all alone?" an injured warrior said "are you insane?" "No i'm, not let me take care of this and it'll all be over soon" i said. "No we need to take this to the root destroy their temple they will wage war again soon enough" one of the soldiers said "We need someone to go there and blow it we already know Death will do it but we need a distraction or he won't be able to do so." "Your smart good plan but no one is dying anymore today" i said. I heard the yells of the enemy army coming closer and i went to go dispatch of them...

I blew open the door to the temple and the four soldiers that volunteered to go ran in. "You dare attack the temple you traitor" the priest yelled "Shut your sewer gate you bastard" i said angrily. "I'm tired of you running your mouth i don't care if i defied your stupid laws i'll defile this place if i had to and i WILL." "Do you really think your strong enough to beat all of us? We still have thousands of Arch Demons getting ready for the next assault" the priest revealed "And we're here to stop it" one of the soldiers said. "Alright i'll get ready to blow this place up distract them i'll give the word and you'll escape GO GO" i said as i charged all my power into one point. The soldiers ran to distract the priests and any other guards that rushed to see why someone blew their door to bits. "Just a little bit more guys i'm almost ready HOLD ON" i said as i continued to channel my power but the soldiers were losing ground and soon they were losing blood. "I'm sorry Death i can't keep going it's up to you thank you for what you've done" one of the soldiers said as he fell. "I failed.. i'm sorry your our last hope Death i hope i bought enough time" another said as she fell next to her comrade. "No no i just a need a damn bit more time" i said trying to speed up the process but it just wasn't fast enough as another soldier fell to the demons. "Death i just wasn't strong enough.. i'm sorry tell my family i'm sorry i couldn't keep my promise i wish i could see them one last time..." he said as his life slipped away. I was almost ready and i hoped that i could save one soldier but i guess luck wasn't on my side as the last one fell like his comrades. "I'm sorry Death i tried my best i just wish i could thank you for what you did back at the bunker you really did inspire me guess i did what a hero did huh *cough*" the soldier said as he went to rest. "Seize that traitor" the priest commanded but it was too late i was ready to finish off the scum. "Your finished priest you've done to much to be forgiven be ready to say goodbye to all your students" i said holding back tears. "They died as heroes i'll make sure they'll be remembered for what they've done for me what they did for all the innocent lives you were going to take away. You will die here and now! Now i know there are multiple universes out there but none of them will have YOU in it. Either way we would eradicate you here today there is no other event it's all the same.  Now DIE!!!" and in a blinding flash i destroyed the temple.. and me...

Or so i thought....
