It finally feels so good to have things somehow figured out for me. Last semester was a lot, I was between trying to figure out what i want and battling with different problems. Arghhhh! it was a lot. But this semester is going to be all about me and me alone. Olivia said to herself, as she brushes her teeth in front of her bathroom mirror, preparing to go to school...
School
Simone: Hey Hey, Olivia! (she screams, as she waved her hands, trying to signal at Olivia).
Olivia: (with a big grin on her face) Hi Simone.
(She walks towards her. The two girls gave each other a big hug.)
Simone: Look at you, beautiful as ever, also adding weight at the right places (she teases)
Olivia: With the kind of semester i had last, I really took time to work on me during the holidays, sis! It was all about me during these hols and i intend to keep it this way for the rest of this semester..
Simone: I wish it was that easy for you (she giggles), Olivia, you attract drama. There is always something centered on you. I might just buy me enough popcorn as i watch this semester's drama unravel (she laughs).
Olivia: (rolls her eyes) whatever, girl. Where in the world is Layla?
Simone: Lol, that one is a perpetual late comer, she is probably in the make up studio trying to look good for Mr Marcaulay (English professor).
They both laughed so hard....
A car hurriedly drove past the girls as they wondered who the crazy driver was, they moved closer wanting to know who it was.
Olivia: Why in the world would any sane person drive like that on campus? Who is the idiot?
The girls moved closer to see the person that drove past them speedily.
Simone: Wow!!! look at that fine specimen of a man. Liv, the idiot is fine. I forgive him.
Olivia: You're a mess. He is alright, nothing special. I have seen finer guys.
The guy got down from his car approaching the ladies....
Spencer: Hey ladies
Simone (smiling sheepishly and gazing into his eyes with so much admiration) Hey. I am Simone.
Spencer: Hey Simone, ( he looked at Olivia but she looked the other way, he cleared his throat) I just transferred into your school and need help in finding my way to the administration office, do you mind?
Olivia stood there, as she watches her friend engage the new student (Spencer).
A voice from behind shouting, Olivia, Olivia, Olivia. Olivia turns around to see her friend Layla, as she approaches her.
Simone: (turns to Olivia) will catch you girls later. Spencer needs me to show him the way.
Olivia; Yea, whatever.
(Layla got to where Olivia was and they both hugged each other)
Layla: Who is that guy with Simone?
Olivia: New student, he just transferred here and needed help finding his way.
Layla: He is fine.
Olivia: Whatever. (she rolls her eyes) why are you just coming?
Layla: You know my dad is travelling back to Italy today, so i needed to spend sometime with him. He comes home just once in a while, so i always try to make good use of every opportunity with him..
Olivia: Yea, are you alright?
Layla: I am fine.
The two ladies both walked to their classes.

For your assignments, I want you to pick any partner of your choice. You and your partner will have to critic Tyler Perry's movie, Mea culpa.
Spencer: (sitting behind Olivia taps her gently) Hey
Olivia: Hi (looking confused)
Spencer: I didn't get your name earlier
Olivia: Yea, I am Olivia (with a fake smile). How can i help you?
Spencer: Olivia, erm do you mind being my partner for the assignment? I just transferred here and....
Olivia: (cuts him short) no need to explain yourself. Yes, I will be your partner.
Spencer: (smiles) Thank you, by the way i am Spencer. You didn't ask for my name. (he smiles again).
Olivia: Ok Spencer, I will just give you my number, so we can talk about the assignment. (She wrote her number on a paper and gave to him).
Spencer: Thanks, I will holla at you.
Olivia: Okay, I got to go. Bye.
Spencer: Bye.
